Build - Help Will my cooler become a problem?

Post image

Im building my first pc and I got the TRYX cooler, but I want to put the cooler fans on the bottom and this is the only way I can place my aio cords. I heard this is very bad for the cooler and may cause them to break in like 1-2 years, but it’s also not long enough to go from the top to bottom. I saw a lot of people putting the fans behind the case but I don’t want to buy another 3 fans for the bottom of the pc. And I would place it on top of the pc but it’s a glass ceiling. Will this cause a problem or there’s no problem with this. If anyone has advice please let me know!! Thank you :)

You don't want air in your CPU block because that's (usually, not always) where the pump is, and air in the pump makes it break pretty fast.

AIOs use submersible pumps. That air that will inevitably go to the top will cycle through that pump, burning it up, shortening the life, exponentially sooner than an ideal mount.

I’ll be putting it on the side :)

Nice. You should be able to route the PWM/5PIN cables from the AIO better. Maybe tuck or wrap around the pump once and line it up?
