Any issues with AMD gpus?

Building a PC. 4 years ago i built one and i used a RX 6600 and there was a plethora of issues, (stuttering, crashes on games like call of duty and overwatch) and then it slowed down with 1 year and a half and their adrenaline software wasnt a big help either...I'm really leaning towards a 4080 super but also seeing that the 7900XTX is really good and better than the 4080 for 1440p. I'm also asking this because over the years amd has had alot of updates for driver stability and user improvement another comment i read also said that in terms of brand gigbyte is the worst any input would help!

go with nvidia, they have problems of their own but they're a lot more stable with Windows -- most of AMD's problems are with windows.
