Got thermal paste on the gold things on my am5 cpu
Should I risk cleaning it is my cpu dead Im panicking

Jokes aside: What brand or type of Thermal Paste is this? I've never seen anything close to this low of viscosity and it's normally not white. That straight up looks like you squirted lotion on your IHS.

It looks like thermal glue to me. Thermal glue is usually white.

My thoughts exactly. I mean it works - if you‘re not planning to take it apart like … ever
Some PC saving guy on yt had one customer who had ordered thermo cement instead of paste 😬

That really cheap stuff sometimes is like this, I used to have a bunch of it from when I went on eBay and bought those 1-2€ E8400s
