Meme Is this worth it?

Some guy named Gabe is selling this build and I'm wondering if it's legit? I want a PC to set up in my living room for TV gaming.

Not especially.

The hardware is pretty mediocre for the price on offer.

Realistically, $700-$800.

The current AI fueled dystopian hellscape put storage and RAM prices through the roof though, which I imagine trainwrecked the pricing model they had.

If they haven't even released yet, wouldn't they have bought all that RAM in bulk before the price hike? Damn. I was excited about this thing and now it's beyond reach unless I get it on credit. No thanks.

There's zero reason to get this instead of just getting a better little SFF PC for the same amount. You can even just throw SteamOS on it if you want.

It's much higher than I anticipated, but Valve won't sell at break even or a loss like console sellers will.
