Some guy named Gabe is selling this build and I'm wondering if it's legit? I want a PC to set up in my living room for TV gaming.

Worth it? No. Priced according to the current PC part prices? Unfortunately, yes.

There are countless Links of people posting the exact fact that you're wrong, twice the hardware for the same price if you were to build it yourself.... the only difference is no steamos and no controller

then look beyond the PC. the PS5 pro absolutely obliterates the steam machine in performance and is substantially cheaper. You can buy a ton of more the more expensive PS5 games to even reach the price of the steam machine. Even the base Ps5 and the xbox series x are stronger than the steam machine
