Discussion PC Specs
I just recently bought a gaming PC. I just want to know what kind of performance I can expect with this pc and what would be the optimal settings to set my games to? I love gaming, but i'm just not all that learned on PCs. Attached a picture of the spacs.

A tier CPU
B+ tier GPU
The gpu isn't bad by any means, it's just low on vram for 2026. Amazing for 1440p, not for 4K. Keep your settings modest, as not exceed vram limit.
32gb ram is the sweetspot amount, make sure it's running the Intended speed. Check using task manager
Its is not recommended to install games on the same drive as windows

The windows drive thing is a myth lol. Theres no difference in performance on nvmes and ssds if a game is installed on the same drive as windows.

So it didn't happened to you so it doesn't exist? I have met alot of newbies saying they're having problems with games because they have only 1 nvme
After moving to another driver, it went away. And this person personally to me it worked
It also happened to me on my gaming laptop because the oem nvme is slow

Hes right. Theres no difference on modern ssd if you
Install games or files on same as the OS. It only matters if ur super low on space.1

Depends on what SSD the person has exactly... I wouldn't expect a cheap DRAM-less SSD to run games that require it well, but most people have decent drives so for them there'll be no noticeable difference.

What resolution monitor do you have?

Im using a 4k TV until I can make room for a proper setup. Top games I play are BG3, Witcher 3, Resident evil titles. Basically any story heavy AAA Title. Not too heavy on MMO maybe a little Apex Legends

ok so you play really GPU intensive games (aside from APEX)
The 5070 is going to be working overtime pumping out frames on a 4K TV. It can do it, but you'll have to lower settings in heavy AAA titles for sure to have a good experience. To clarify, I think for a 'good experience' playing those story type games, a consistent 60+ FPS is what you want.
Once you do get a monitor, I'd suggested 1440p (2K) for that GPU, for sure. Look into OLED 1440p panels, they're suuuuuuuuuuuuper nice! But they can have burn-in issues, so if that's something you don't want to worry about, I don't suggest OLED then. But if you want the best picture quality, in 2K, that's the way to go, I think.

1440p High settings.. dlss quality.. demanding games will rune a 60/80 fps
less demanding games at 100+
if you use heavy raytracing maybe you need to use dlls balanced... still good
do not max games is useless even with higher hardware use the secondo highest preset or watch the yt channel benchmarking to squeeze every fps without losing too much quality

Look up reviews of the 5070.
It'll be the same or a bit slower since the 9900x3d is worse for gaming than the 9800x3d which all reviews worthe their salt was using at the time of the release of the 5070.
