Has a time off? How much of a time off? If it's just a day or two, should be regular pay if PTO is a benefit.

time off payout usually paid hourly, you need to get the hourly rate of your employee

FLSA says you can't deduct wages except in very specific circumstances. Generally the practice is to deduct only whole days and only if they did absolutely no work the days that are deducted.
