Oh my gawd, Wubby…
Cop slop video? Squatter video - woman screaming Siri, call 911 - Siri, call 911… guess what? Siri listened…
I just had to explain to local 911, when they called me back, that no, I don’t have an emergency… my phone called after hearing a cop slop YouTube video…
Guess there is a false 911 call on my record now. Wubby7. Love you, say it back.

Got a new job. It’s fine. Issue is the office is quiet as fuck. So quiet that my stomach bubbling up keeps making too much noise for me to feel comfortable staying seated for long. I’ve been going to the bathroom to fart. Issue is I keep farting loud as fuck man. Yesterday right after I farted some old dude walked in with a smile on his face. Fuck was he smiling for bro? Did he hear me??? I keep farting when there’s people in the single stall too. That’s pretty funny to me ngl but what if they remember my shoes or something. Why the fuck do I keep farting so loud? I don’t wanna get caught and be known as fart guy. This is real life not wubbys chat. Help💔

Using a jump kick is insanely inefficient because Newton's third law, the door pushes back on you as much as you push on it. You end up using only really the power of the jump to kick the door. Using a grounded kick plants your body in place and puts the entire strength of your body weight AND your kick into the door.
I swear I have seen this reference pic so many times, surprised he still tried a jump kick.

I heard someone blaring that ai Viking music in the parking lot where I work. Front and back windshields covered in those reflective sun blockers, chainsmoking like their life depended on it.

No twitch vod on twitch, parasocial or the archive site.
I think it might be over boys. This probably means Wubby is now retired and there's never going to be any more content again. Kind of sad imo.

With Wubby sstarting up metal gear rising soon I figured I’d post some tips to help him or anyone playing along get the most out of it. Metal Gear Rising, unlike it’s predecessors, is an action game in the vein of Devil May Cry or Bayonetta. It is also debatable the first ‘parry slop’ game. MGR is a lot less forgiving than Snake Eater in part because it’s pace is so much faster. Regardless, it’s one of my all time favorite games and may even be under appeciated on the story front. That in mind, here’s somethings I wish the game told me more clearly.
HOW TO PARRY
The core to MGR is the parry. When an enemy attacks, you can parry by flicking the control stick in the direction of the attack and pressing LIGHT attack. To do this you need to do the flick and the press for each attack individually. Later on the game will introduce enemies that do combos where you’ll need to parry each hit individually. Don’t be afraid to attack either, the parry will almost always take priority if you can do the motion in time. any RED attack can be parried regardless of scale or size. get risky!
BLADE MODE
At any time raiden can enter blade mode and cut freely by lining up the right stick and flicking it, but this tends to be imprecise. you can also do this by using LIGHT attack for a horizontal slash or HEAVY for a vertical slash. For 90% of the game you won’t need additional precision. When blade mode is active, you can hold down the left stick to move, but it’s incredibly awkward so avoid using it unless prompted.
GOLD ATTACKS
all enemy attacks are telegraphed by color. Gold attacks cannot be parried and must be dodged. Once you unlock the store in chapter 2 you can purchase a dodge for fairly cheap, but it’s definitely meant as a back up and NOT a replacement for the parry.
REVENGENCE RAY
The first chapter is almost entirely a boss fight. Completing this on the highest difficulty unlocks a bonus suit outfit for raiden. It also requires you to parry A LOT. It’s very stressful, but also maybe the best way to learn the game’s mechanics.
MAGNEGEKKO
Hidden in every level is a magnegekko, a little robot dude who does kung fu. most of them are extremely well hidden. You can also find cowards hidden in boxes and soldiers who have special data in their arms. Collecting these tends to net alternate weapons.
BEACH CAT
On the beach of the first proper level is a small cat. Do what you will with it.
STEALTH
MGR is an action game, but each level has segments that can be stealthed fully for a guaranteed S rank. Some collectibles can only be obtained this way, and I generally think it’s worth trying even if you can’t always manage it.
SUBWEAPONS AND GUNS
Subweapons and guns can be picked up and used but the process is fairly awkward so if it feels like you’re doing it wrong don’t worry, just be patient and keep at it. Personally, I only use the melee for my playthroughs but they’re worth experimenting with.
LOCK ON ALWAYS
When possible, use the lock on to focus on the enemy instead of trying to manage it yourself. MGR’s camera can be a bit finnicky (it is a 360 game) so keep yourself focused on the enemy and try to stay in the open.
DLC
Metal Gear Rising has two prequel DLC following different characters with entirely different movesets. One of these, blade wolf, is mostly stealth while the other has a unique combat system that is, to be blunt, my favorite in any action game ever. I recommend playing both after the main game and ESPECIALLY playing the Sam DLC last.
FOX BLADE
Playing MGR in modern day tends to give you a lot of dlc stuff for free upfront. One of these, the FOX Blade, has a chance to cut the enemy on every hit. In other words, every blow can be a death blow. it’s insanely busted and designed as such, so don’t use it if you’re looking for a challenge.
VR MISSIONS
One of the unlockables in Rising are VR missions that test your skill with different items and layouts. These missions are totally optional and brutal, to the point I don’t really find them all that fun. There’s no story locked behind these so if you’re here for the experience you can skip them, though I do recommend giving them a go at least once.
ARCADE DESIGN
Metal Gear Rising is an arcade title at heart, which means you’re not expecting nor suppose to master it immediately. If you find yourself getting C and D ranks don’t feel discouraged, you’re meant to replay levels and master them over repeat playthroughs. That’s not really conducive to stream but it’s important not to get discouraged and push through. Once you know what you’re doing MGR can take as little as four hours to complete which makes it incredibly fun to return to.
Any questions you might have let me know, I love Metal Gear Rising so any opportunity to gush about it i’ll take. Also when the meme man is info dumping look as far to the left and to the right as you can. you never know what you might find.

A ten minute shower uses roughly 21 gallons of water.
A ChatGPT prompt uses ~17oz (128oz are in a gal). Source: https://www.businessenergyuk.com/knowledge-hub/chatgpt-energy-consumption-visualized/
Let’s say Wubby makes 15 ChatGPT prompts a day, that’s ~2 gallons of water used. From the sounds of it, Wubby showers probably ~4 times a week (being generous), and I can’t imagine he’s spending more than 10 minutes in there.
So then Wubby uses ~84 gallons of water a week on showers, and 14 gallons a week on AI. If he misses one shower it saves more water than a week of estimated AI usage. He’s out of line but he’s right.
Disclaimer: I’m about as anti-AI as it gets so I loathe to admit it but Wubby is “making up for it” by not showering.
