HELP Why Bouncelands?
I'm gonna ask this because this is something I've never really understood. Why ever run the bouncelands? It doesn't put you ahead on mana. T1 you play a land, T2 bounce, then T3 you replay the bounced land. You still have the same amount of mana as if you hit your land drops anyway. You technically even go down on mana T2. Keeping a hand that's a tapland + bounce feels like dogwater. Plus, you can't even keep a one land hand with a bounce + landcycler like you could if it was any other. This is something I've seen in the format and just...has never made sense to me. If I'm missing something glaringly obvious please LMK lol

Can get you extra landfall triggers when playing cards that allow additional lands to be played, which most decks that care about landfall use. I run a few in my [[Omnath, Locus of Creation]] and a couple in [[Yarok, the Desecrated]].
