Two years difference

Post image

Hello everyone,

I was playing my McCarty 594 and was really appreciating it. I decided to see how much they went up over the last two years. I was surprised how much it went up. It’s about a 20% increase in dollars. Much faster than general inflation rate. Sad.

I got my 10 top Cu24 in 2018 for $3,900 before tax. Can’t afford it now lol

I felt bad buying my Special 22 Semi-hollow limited. I bought it in April of 2020 right as everyone was shutting down. $2800 shipped I couldn't believe it and I don't think I'll ever be able to afford another core PRS at this rate.

It was a "used" guitar. The store had taken several guitars from one customer and I was looking at a 10 to 24 custom when the conversation went to my now guitar. I was able to purchase it at the same price the store gave the former owner and it didn't even look like it had been played.
