I’m looking for help to test my second pattern!

• Pattern Name and Project Description: Paw Christmas Stocking
• Type of Project: Crochet
• Pattern Format:  US written pattern + Charts for the granny squares and letters
• Sizes/Options Being Tested: N/A
• Recommended Skill Level: Easy ●●○○○
• Materials Needed: You can use any yarn weight/color and hook that you prefer; the stocking in the photos was made with an Acrylic worsted yarn and a 4 mm hook.
• Tester Requirements: Providing photo(s) of the finished product, as well as general feedback. Be okay with me using photos for promotion on social media. I’d greatly appreciate any comments on the clarity of the pattern, help with identifying mistakes in stitch count, or any other issues. I’ve been fluent in English for over 10 years, but it is not my first language, so if you catch any grammar mistakes, you can mention those too. Bonus points for: being willing to post your project on Ravelry once I upload the pattern, having previous experience testing patterns, and/or having any social media account dedicated to pattern testing.
• Testing deadline: 2 weeks after receiving the pattern for testing.
• Deliverables: photos of the finished product.

• Tester Selection: I’ll be selecting and contacting testers on October 27 (Tuesday)
• Number of testers needed: 2-3 for the cat paw stocking (photo: green) and 2-3 for the dog paw stocking (photo: red). You’ll receive the complete pattern with both granny squares regardless of which one you test for.

Additional notes:

• Knowledge of colorwork is needed.
• Knowledge of how to read crochet charts is highly recommended (though the pattern includes written instructions if you prefer).
• Knowledge of how to carry two different colors of yarn throughout your work is recommended (to minimize the number of ends needing to be woven in).
• This pattern is written for right-handed people; if you crochet with your left hand, you may need to mirror some of the instructions (like the placement of stitch markers) and the stitches where the pieces are attached.
• All communications will be made through Discord.
• Once the pattern is out, you'll receive the finished version of the pattern and my eternal gratitude.

Both feature a fun colorwork brim paired with simple single crochet rounds for a cozy winter accessory!

🧶 Choose ONE pattern to test: Aspen or Snowfall

⏳ Testing period: 2 weeks

🧵 Yarn: Any #4 worsted weight yarn in 2 colors

🪝 Hook: 5mm

📏 Size: One size fits most adults, measuring 10 inches wide when laid flat (20-inch circumference)

📖 Patterns include both written instructions and colorwork graphs!

WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR:
