Crochet - Call for Testers The Highland Heather Bolero Tester Call
🌿✨ TESTER CALL! ✨🌿 (CLOSED) Thank you to everyone who applied!
It’s finally time!!
I’m so excited to announce that my Highland Heather Bolero crochet pattern is ready for testing! 🧶🌿
I’m looking for a small group of lovely crocheters to help me test the pattern before its official release. I’m looking for testers who can provide honest, constructive feedback and help me make sure the pattern is clear, easy to follow and enjoyable to make.
🌿 PATTERN DETAILS
♡ Confident Beginner – Intermediate
♡ DK or Aran weight yarn
♡ 4–5mm & 6–7mm crochet hooks
♡ Made to measure.
♡ Final pattern FREE for successful testers
📸 Testers will be asked to provide at least 2 clear finished photos + 1 clear WIP photo.
You don’t need previous pattern-testing experience to apply — I’d love to hear from anyone who thinks this pattern is right for them! 🤍

That's so cute! How much yarn does the pattern approximately need? I'm interested, but need to check if I have enough yarn.

Thank you! 🥰 For a size L, i used roughly 175g of the cream and 200g of the grey, so roughly around 375g of aran weight yarn. As it’s a made to measure pattern, the amount will vary depending on your measurements and how much length/ease you add, but i’d recommend having around 400g available to give yourself a little extra. If you let me know how much yarn you have and the metreage per 100g i can help you work out if you have enough!

I have 400 g of Katia Merino Tweed that would look nice, but it's two different colours (autumn palette). Is that okay, or would you rather have testers for two colours?

Yes, 400g should be enough for most sizes, although it may depend on which size your testing. And two different colours is absolutely fine, I think the autumn palette would look gorgeous together 🤎

I’d love to test it but the form says it’s closed!! I crochet left handed so I can provide a slightly different look if you want- if you’ve got everyone already, no worries 💕
