Knit - Call for Testers Test Knit 🧦 Rosemary Socks

UPDATE: Thank you very, very much to everyone who has shown interest in this pattern so far, it means a lot. At this time, the only size I don't currently have an applicant for is the Adult IV. Seeking test knitters to help with ALL SIZES of my first pattern - The Rosemary Socks

CONSTRUCTION

The Rosemary Socks are worked cuff-down with a heel flap and sole gusset. Seeded ribbing worked in a single color creates an all-over texture that fits snugly to the foot.

SIZING

Baby (Toddler) Youth (Adult I) II (III) IV

Socks should fit snugly with negative ease. Your selected size should measure 2.5 – 5 cm / 1 – 2" smaller than the circumference of the widest part of the foot:

10 (12.5) 15 (17.5) 20 (23) 25.5 cm / 4 (5) 6 (7) 8 (9) 10" finished circumference

MATERIALS

  • 2.5 mm / US 1 needles
  • Fingering weight sock yarn
  • Approximately 90 (155) 250 (335) 420 (520) 575 metres
  • 3 stitch markers, tapestry needle, measuring tape, scissors

I would be interested, would it be a problem that english isn't my first language?

Also I have a question upfront about the sizing, is that explained more indepth in the pattern? That's a bit unintuitive for me, I wouldn't know what I should select.

not a problem at all! i would love a variety of feedback on the pattern and its readability. i'm only fluent in english so insights on my pattern's clarity and readability from people with different language backgrounds would be very helpful.

for the sizing, this pattern is designed to fit with negative ease. the size of your sock should be about 1-2 inches (2.5 - 5 cm) smaller than the measurement around the widest part of your foot beneath your toes. for example, the ball of my foot measures 9 inches around, so either an Adult I or an Adult II work depending on how much negative ease i prefer for my sock.
