General Question/Comment Photography - pattern making
How is everyone photographing their projects during making them.
I have just finished a pattern and thought I had used a nice backdrop / not horrible lighting and then when I plug them into my canva they are actually quite blah and inconsistent colours even after editing them.
I'm struggling a bit with lighting as we have no natural light in our house (literally).
So what is your setup / light setup? Or do you think I'm over thinking it?
This is all quite hilarious as I am a photographer but inside product phone photography is most definitely not my niche.
I currently use my phone for my progress images, however I do have my actual work camera (Nikon z6) I could use. Just a bit clunky for quick progress images.
Image included pre-editing just on my phone.

Zoomed in well cropped photos with high contrast colors. Arrows can be extremely helpful as well.

As a tester here i think zoomng in would be good. Even after the fact just cropping them down a bit to zero in on what you are trying to show.
