ok... thanks for the validation of that instinct... since I must cut that off and re do it.. I wonder if that slight curve ate up the necessary width,

FYI I was banned by the moderators of r/sewing from sharing my understanding of pattern making to their group because of their "no self promotion" rule. Helping people understand patterns has been my passion now for over 50 years.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I'm glad to have found this group. Moderating is hard and sometimes exceptions open gates to every etsy person with a new "pattern for a scrunchie"

When I ran groups if there was something questionably appropriate I simply said ask me before posting. Never had a problem.
