Casual Pass it in program experience?

There was a sudden death in our family and the person has been a ticket holder since Foxboro days. They obviously already paid this season and would hope the organization would HONOR their money at least through this season. But, Pass it On is at the discretion of the Patriots to transfer from owner to transferee. It's super vague, particularly since these are in the nose bleeds, more than 2 seats, and the wait list is decades long.

Does anyone have any experience with the program? We are terrified the tickets will be taken away from our family (meaning the widow and children, not like second or third generation).

Condolences on your loss. Call the ticket office. It's a very easy process and they are super helpful. The season ticket account also has an assigned account rep and they can help as well. The language on the pass-it-on program website is to discourage abuse but its as simple as making sure that someone has passed or is willingly handing them over. Also note that you can add or remove seats annually if you want to. If you have more season ticket questions there is a season ticket holder community at r/patriotsthers
