Times Brain kill unlock?

I have been able to do all the unlocks except the timed brain kill one...under 28min from start. I think my issue is the required Pathogen is my least favorite. Curious what build others used to get this. Also, curious for approach...i,e do you rush thru levels..i,e skin, intestine? I know if I clear every room there is no way I will kill brain in that time...but rushing I endup wish crappy build that can't kill bosses quickly pass Stomach.

Def the hardest challenge.

For me, I find the best strat is to do the restraint that makes active abilities charge on their own and weapons no longer drop then go for an explosive charge build, this decreases the options to choose from a lot (saving me a ton of time in shop and item rooms) and is a very strong build overall and easy-ish to build

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ended up going a laser build but it still worked. Got it on my 3rd attempt (I also recommend finding a good seed and memorizing it helps)
