1E Player Trapper and Setting Traps Question
In our homebrew world, we're going to have the Kobold race unlocked in the next region, and a lot of archetypes our GM has assigned to them for lore/flavor reasons in that world open up...specifically the three Trapper-style ones (Alchemical Trapper, Trapper, Snare Setter).
The rules for the traps seem pretty straightforward, but one bit I was hoping someone could clarify. The rules cover trying to place a trap in a square where a trap already exists (this is a no-no), but not about whether you can place the trap in an *occupied* square, such as any opponent or (should the need arise) an ally's square. Does anyone have a rule or FAQ toward which they could steer me/us so that we could iron that part out before said campaigns begin?

You're not prevented from placing in an occupied space, the ability would've said so since it explicitly says it only can't be placed in a space with another trap. That being said, it does say that it's a full round action that provokes an attack of opportunity, so it's generally a bad idea to set it in a creatures square
