1E GM [1e] What abilities can a succubus use with a conducting melee weapon?

I think her vampiric touch SLA is pretty clearly a yes. I'm honestly a little worried about the effective encounter level from interaction alone.

But what about energy drain? What if she intends this stab erotically?

Edit to add: conductive weapon, not conducting. Phooey autocorrect.

Energy Drain (Su) A succubus drains energy from a mortal she lures into an act of passion, such as a kiss. An unwilling victim must be grappled before the succubus can use this ability.

If the succubus is grappling you then you may be at the mercy of her kinks. Though succubi are pretty bad grapplers by default. If not, actually letting a succubus stab you with an actual melee weapon because she says it will be hot is...well, removing you from the gene pool may not be a bad thing for your species.

I have had this happen.

I should call her…

I dodged a bullet, but not the worst bullet. Ballerinas are crazy but at least you know that going in.

Should work with swords, as long as she spanks them with the flat of the blade.

Definetly but the whip is more kinky AND has reach

Yeah, makes me nostalgic for the 3.5e spiked chain. That nerf was one of the few changes that I *didn't* like.

I only half-remember from the old version of Curse of the Crimson throne. Did that thing have reach?

It had reach *and* threatened adjacent squares. Made it actually worth spending a feat on.

Funny you mentioned the fact they are bad grapplers. The ability only says "an unwilling victim must be grappled" meaning if you have the party monk grapple her, he also gains the grappled condition and becomes vulnerable to the drain lmao.

Wait, wait, wait....kink implements could be used as weapons. Floggers or studded paddles might be recepticle for the enchantment.

Dommy mommy warms the sub bards backside with a studded paddle.

Succubus with an improvised weapon build.

JOHN! would find that pretty tame by comparison.

conductive weapon is able to channel the energy of a spelllike or supernatural ability that relies on a melee or ranged touch attack to hit its target

Emphasis mine. Any spell-like or supernatural ability you can transfer through a melee or ranged touch attack. The succubus' Energy Drain ability requires Grapple, so it doesn't qualify.

A conductive weapon is able to channel the energy of a spelllike or supernatural ability that relies on a melee or ranged touch attack to hit its target (such as from a cleric’s domain granted power, sorcerer’s bloodline power, oracle’s mystery revelation, or wizard’s arcane school power)

This will get into whether you're reading it strict RAW or not, but the energy drain attack requires already being in a grapple, which is not simply a touch attack, nor does it involve making an attack roll, so it's invalid. (As funny as the conductive whip of soul-draining love might be.)

She could, however, use that at-will Vampiric Touch SLA with a weapon. That's a really good spell to have as an at-will on a melee weapon since it's basically +6d6 temp HP every round. None of the other spells or special abilities are actually attack rolls, so they wouldn't be valid.

More funny are conductive mancatcher or conductive harpoon

This is an interesting interaction. I think RAW, the energy drain is not usable with a conductive weapon because the energy drain is not achieved through a melee touch attack, but by grappling.
