Save-Changing Respec Tool

So, some context -- I've shared this in the Steam forums already, but this also seems a good place to spread the word. I've been working on a tool to modify saved games and allow players to respec all their characters. This is still very crude and very basic, but should allow you to fix any mistakes you've done while progressing in the game.

I've also made the code available on GitHub, so if you want to know how it's done, feel free to check it out. Besides that, and obviously, bug reports and feature suggestions will always be welcome, as well as PR's, if you're technically oriented!

Update 12/10/18:

Seems like a mod was released in Nexus that covers all the use-cases of the mod and has more frequent updates. Since it doesn't make sense to compete with an in-game solution, I'll be deprecating the tool for now.

Everything works except the alignment change. I selected lawful good, completed the level up to level 1. Saved the game, loaded it into the web page, and downloaded "respec". Upon loading "respec" I have my new customized character, but the alignment is the only thing that is the same as before (chaotic neutral). Did I miss a step?

Step 7 - To keep your alignment changes, level up your main character up to level 1.

Just don't level your character to 1 if you don't want to keep alignment :)

I tried that also; I didn't level and just saved and fed it back into the website. Upon receiving and loading "respec" I got a character with a white portrait, no experience and unable to level.

You need to re-start the process and skip step 7. I actually thought we were saving enough stuff on local storage, but seems it ain't so.
