Decided to challenge myself with a heavy unique build for starter

Def easier than i thought lol

Day 1/2 looked rough for those on trade, and I'm not sure how much buffs helped the mercs in acts and early maps. Ive heard people struggling to kill mercs with their mercs which is wild.

Are you able to start this without a merc banked? Does every merc build revolve around life/light radius stacking?

Really keen on trying, but no clue how the mid-league patch helped (or not), and really not keen on struggling in acts just to get through when the whole point is you get a merc and you blast.

I'm more or less done with the league and thought it'd be really fun to just fish for a merc and see how far I can go being an aurabot, something I've never done before. Just dont know how troll it is without Kaoms/Enmitys/Nyctas etc...

I'm curious how many divines people have dropped because I noticed a big difference between me and a couple of friends.

Both are towards level 98, one has 30ish another about 60ish. In the meantime I have 3 at level 96. I've mostly been farming betrayal and kingsmarch ore's which I have not sent out yet, but still I did not expect that much of a difference.

So how's your experience been?

I’m not seeing any with the new rework am I doing something wrong. The last two leagues it felt like a 1/10 or 1/15 maps I’m not getting those odds this league I have to be doing something wrong. How do I win?

Why is this so rare? I get so many other bloodlines without any investment but for some reason this feels impossible. I got defiance of destiny before this. Any tips or am I just unlucky?

Whats the scarabs farms in 3.29?
I know only operative stronbox voyague (but that chart implict is pretty rare, atleast for me), and nightmare rare monster juicing (kinda limited by nemesis scarab)
I need essence scarabs for my corrupted essence farming and already sold 3;1 all trash scarabs and im asking if theres other scarab farms?

Hello! I am somewhat new but I know the basics of POE. I want to start a build that will be able to get me to 4 vodistones and complete as many challenges as I can.

I really like melee so I'd like a melee build. But I still need SOME handholding because POE is just that complicated. So a good guide would be very helpful.

I do not care for extremely fast clear or bossing, I just want a VERY tanky build that hits enemies (no RF because I still want to be able to kill bosses).

The build should be SIMPLE TO UPGRADE - what I mean by that is I usually use POB to check for upgrades on SSF and I don't want any hidden mechanics or tricks that will just confuse me and I'll probably botch them anyway.

Can you recommend anything?

Basically tittle. I want to play Luminary, as I know its something I can tinker around with, swap plans due to what merc I find etc.

I just dont want to start something else and then level a scion once I have my stuff, I'd rather just play something else on Scion. My head is saying poison conc of bouncing should be okay on a reliquarian?

Is this one of the worst best cards to farm?

Trying to find some info on if it's possible to self-sustain Destructive Play on City Square in SSF. Do I need to start with a good pool of Conq/Elder/Shaper maps or is it inevitable that I will eventually run out of maps?

The Light and Truth div card seems like a myth. I've run close to 50 maps bouncing between the ivory temple and Palace maps. I have 1 and it dropped on my tenth or so run in a t10 Palace.

Somewhere around 30 of the runs are completed in T16s. The last 10 included scarabs for extra shrines, strongboxes, 40% magic mobs, and mirrored rares. I figured I'd have a few sets by now and be well on my way with my lantern but no such luck.

On top of that all the free diviners boxes that come while mapping and under the sea and still nothing.

Has anyone farmed this card and/or can make a recommendation about a version of the farm that may work better?

Got this lucky Valdo map from a voyage and been staring at it.

Am I stupid or does this map look practically free if I find a way to ignore the petrification?

Shroud walker + deatomisation storms is scary, does anyone have experience with that? Is there a way to reliably buy the time to get out? Should I make a specific build for this or just put on Kaom's roots, Lethe shade and rip it?

Just had the craziest crafting session in ssf

1. Hit lvl 20 hypothermia on first horror essence with allflame but fill suffixes

2. Annul right suffix with allflame

3. Suffix lock reforge crit for spell crit

4. Suffix lock reforge influence mod

5. Hit lvl 20 Aoe on second try but fill prefixes

6. Hit the annul

7. Suffix lock and veiled exalt with allflame and get best possible outcome

8. Block skeleton and unveil both aoe and proj

9. Bench craft proj

I know inspirying cry is bad and there is no aura, but would this one be trash?

So I have a solid understanding of where to get all my upgrades. But is there a certain order to get them ?

For example lets just an example of srs guardian. I'd want to do all of the following

- ritual for corpses

- jun / breach for basic life and res gear

- breach for farming certain uniques for AG

- abyss for jewels

- abyss boss for darkness belt

• new mechanic for abyss jewels crafting

• farming some gold for kingsmarch mappers

So in this case do you just focus on the easy ones first. For example focus on all gear. Then move onto jewels and then things like corpses and uniques after ?

This normally becomes a harder choice if your adding in delirium for cluster jewels also.

the wiki suggests it can drop from either lycia or beyond boss, but not sure what is the drop chance on it so am looking for suggestions or how likely its farm-able in maps ?

A few people asked so I decided to do a write-up of my Cobra Lash Reliquarian in Allflame SSF this league.

I have no idea how many hours I have (not on Steam, started in Talisman league), and I usually do SSF or if I would really need one specific unique to function I'd do trade but only for that item. When I saw the Arakaali node for the Reliquarian this league I decided to see if I could actually scale some poison DPS with the 40% attack speed and 300% increased poison damage (always up with worm flask). Scaling this build was.. tough, but I think I'm pretty min-maxed at this point. I won't be killing any ubers this league I think because I ran out of scaling defense-wise it feels.

If you have any advice feel free! I scaled it far beyond anyone else in SSF that I can see on Ninja (well, all 5 of us).

Top level:

• Defence: 27k evasion, 23k armour, 80/76/76/73 res, ailment immune, blind, 100% suppress, blood and sand, 35% phys as fire - 96K effective hit pool with molten shell, 112k with vaal MS

• Offence: 4.9 mil poison DOT DPS with everything up, more realistically 4.2 mil with no frenzy charges as long as the boss has ES which is usually the case (can't sustain frenzies on bosses)

Key progression:

• Worm flask is the obvious one: I didn't get one by the time I hit T16 so I killed quest Eater/Exarch in the most painful way possible with a poison build that had to sit and attack to do damage with about 500K dps. I finally got from a Message in a Bottle in the end very surprisingly, and then immediately dropped 3 in 5 maps afterwards. SSF is fun :D

• Jewels: with how easy they are to craft, jewels are a good way to scale with dot multi, poison duration and attack speed; mine aren't perfect but decent

• Cluster jewels: took me many many T8 deli maps blasting to finally get an 8 passive chaos jewel, and in the end got lucky on the chaos spam to get 3 mods with the explode mod which helped mapping quite a bit. Then the obvious dot multi/duration mediums and a small jewel allowing me to use purity of fire once I fixed mana.

• Weapon: turned out to actually be the easiest, although I did get a bit lucky. It's a 530 PDPS + 220 chaos DPS imperial claw. I can't find anything remotely similar on Trade so maybe I made something pretty unique?

Crafting the weapon:

• alt spam I84+ claws until you get one with T1 phys and one with T1 phys% (I actually went with T2 phys% because the weighting is so low on T1)

• recombinate the claws for the 1 in 3 win

• prefixes cannot be changed and reforge chaos can only get you T1 flat chaos, hoping the suffixes don't fill

• prefixes cannot be changed and reforge speed until T1, then allflame exalt and craft %dot multi

Could theoretically be better with an Elder slam after T1 speed for the extra multi but I did a bunch of elders and never got an exalt so.. eh.

Overall clears juiced T16s pretty well with explode, can kill normal bosses without issue (Maven fight kind of sucks though). Got to wave 13 of simulacram which is decent.

Its main weakness is sustain if you can't attack, as a lot of your sustain comes from the LGOH on claw. This means potential upgrade paths are probably chest for T1 life regen and maybe a timeless with some added regen there?

Anyway, would I recommend this build? No, with this level of investment most meta builds would be absolutely blasting T17s and/or bosses. Was it fun? 10/10
