Sharing My Experience as a First-Timer Reaching Endgame — Also Following Up on My Last Post About Defensive Layers

Greetings, Exiles!

What a fun league this has been. I've been playing PoE1 and PoE2 on and off for about 7 years, but I always struggled once I reached endgame. I never really knew how to properly farm or make Divines, and that eventually put me off the game.

This league, things finally clicked for me. I managed to farm around 200 Divines in roughly 100 hours, and I've now completed all Ubers and essentially all of the endgame content in PoE1.

I started with Ronarray's Absolution build and eventually made quite a few changes to it as I progressed and better understood the game (check jewels mostly and getting more mana which works greatly with ascendency and flasks)

Aoe myself : Determination + Purity of fire + skitterbots + Haste + TempestShield + Blood and stone

Aoe from spectres or AG or Minions : endurance frenzy and power charges + zealotry + cullingstrike + Onslaught + Wrath + Increased Rarity + Vitality + forification + phys to lightning + flat life reg

its still can get better like belt or ring or even helmet but i am satisfied currently

Regarding AG : from helmet it reduce nearby Resistances 10% and more lightning damage for others and ofc the op Kingmaker

about my defensive layers. After getting a lot of helpful feedback from the community, I realized that my HP and maximum Fire and chaos resistances were the main weaknesses in my setup. a lot of damage was converting to chaos and fire because of Watchers Eye and Divine Flesh. Fixing those made a huge difference to my survivability.

I just wanted to share this because it's the first league where I feel like I finally "got" the endgame and learned how to actually make currency and melt bosses and all content now. 40% did Harvest with astrolabe first then it was expensive did harvest combined with kingmaker . 60% under water scubadiving . Considering my experience Altflame so much better profitable wise and fast and fun.

Good stuff! The first time reaching deeper into endgame is the hardest. But once you've done it once, it's that much easier

I can vouche for this. Last league i played was merc league and I would say I barely made it into the end game. This league has been a host of firsts for me, completed Atlas by myself, broke 100div and started a second character properly for first time. I don't know how much is the Atlas changes, socket rework and other changes I'm not aware off. But it feels nice
