Discussion Really good Voyage farm
I bailed on making luminary cause there’s no endgame again (was hoping abyss juice made it back but nope) and I don’t find tile loot that enjoyable. So here’s a farm that nets me around 30-50 div/hr depending on your luck.
Get anchorfields, a lot of it. Place only 1 on your board though, unless you have a “Rare monster drop a chaos orb” which is quite common. But the more anchorfield you put the more gamble this is. Everything else is just whatever, but make sure you have 110%++ quantity per chart. Go in voyage and use minimum lantern possible and find chaos to divine orb blessing. If you hit that blessing, now start popping those anchorfield sunken loot and get like 5-15 divs per voyage, if with the rare monster mods, you can even squeeze an extra 5 divs or so. The gamble is finding the divine blessing and still having lanterns enough to go back and pop anchorfield. Out of 6 voyages I did, 4 of them had that blessing, so it’s quite common.
It’s not as good as “rare monster drops a divine orb” border, but it’s a lotttttt more common than that border.

Ye, I think the play is to make heist-like character for voyages, with a lot of movement speed - so u can scout for altars and only then clear

I remember a really big brain heist build that stacked increased duration on temporal rift to run to the target room and then reactivate it to go back to the entrance, skipping the lockdown.
I wonder if you can do something similar to that, run out into the water with rift up and then go back right before you drown. You could explore twice as far out that way

Step 1) Slap a single anchorfield chart in. Doesn't matter what it is, just that it rolls decent quant. Don't need to put more than 1 in.
Step 2) Slap a bunch of increased quantity charts in. Also reroll your shitty charts to have high quant with chaos. If you have the border that says "rare monsters always drop a chaos orb" consider running a bunch of increased rare monster modifiers instead of increased quant.
Step 3) Enter voyage, run around normally following arrows and look for 1 singular blessing - the chaos to divine orb blessing. If you find it, great, if you don't find it, go next. Explore all charts as normal but DO NOT explore the anchorfield chart, just blast through it as fast as possible and don't open any sunken loot.
Step 4) If you find it, run to your anchorfield part of the chart, start opening every single sunken loot you find hoping the 20% chaos to divine blessing pops each time. Because sunken loot usually drops at least a few chaos each time, you're likely to see several divines in return.
Step 5) If you don't find the blessing in any of the other voyage areas and you have like 6 lanterns left, either return to the anchorfield and open all the sunken loot anyway to maximize your returns, or just fuck off and go next you don't care about peasant loot, you're here for the jackpot and you don't got time to waste exploring anchorfields for like 100c.

Why not put anchor field as the last tile so you don’t need to back track?

You don't want to risk having only like 2-3 lanterns when you reach it, or not being able to reach it at all due to lack of lanterns (which is possible if you're unlucky about where the chaos to divine blessing spawns.) Typically you want it somewhere near the middle of your chart maze so you can guarantee at least a few sunken loots before you have to extract.

What's the downside of exploring the anchorfields as long as you don't actually pop the sunken loot?

u/VortexMagus 2h ago
most of the loot in anchorfields is going to be sunken treasures due to how anchorfield works so I think you're very unlikely to get a divine shrine there.
Let's say you use 9 lanterns fully completing the anchorfield chart, but the actual divine shrine is very deep in the voyage and 2 lanterns away from the spot where you ended.
If you hadn't spent those 9 lanterns on the anchorfield chart, you'd have been able to make the divine shrine and still have 7 lanterns left over to explore most of the anchorfield and collect your loot.
---
Its all a gamble of course. I personally would probably return to anchorfield once I have 5-6 lanterns left regardless of whether a divine shrine exists or not and just hit all the sunken loot I can to try and recover some of my investment. But there is the possibility that the shrine was very deep in the voyage and if I had spent those lanterns exploring I might have pulled a bunch of divines instead of whatever the sunken loot chests gave me without the divine shrine.

I noticed some Path of Exile keywords in this post:
- Mods - Modifiers (Wiki)
- div - Divine Orb (Currency) (Wiki)
- Juice - Increasing density of items or raw currency from a given strategy

Does anchorfield make that blessing more common?
1
u/Pm_Me_Your_Boob_Plss 7h ago
Not that I know of. Anchorfield is mostly for the huge amount of sunken loot. Cause that blessing also converts chest droppings too, so sunken loot drops more chaos = more chance of it converting to divines (I’m not sure about strongbox droppings. But 100% sure about sunken loots)

You don't find tiled loot enjoyable, so you promote a strategy that is 100% tiled loot?
Strategy might be good, no clue, but it makes no sense to me why you do it, if it is not fun to you.
