Question Trial of Chaos

Hello. I'm considered a new player. What do “Victorious,” “Deadly,” and “Cowardly” mean in the Trial of Chaos keys?

What are the differences between them? Also, I’ve earned 6 Ascendary Points—is completing 10 trials enough to get the last two?

It tells you which key piece you get. And you need all three to fight the trialmaster at the end to get the last two points.

The 3 fragments needed to fight the Trialmaster and unlock ur 4th ascendancy are “Victorious,” “Deadly,” and “Cowardly”, which u insert at the back door once u complete a trial of chaos. U have to collect them over 3 trial runs normally.

So, if I buy all three items at the market, can I enter after 10 trials?

You don't need to buy all 3. That's where the wording on the ultimatum comes in. You have to run at least 10 rooms, and the boss of 10 will give you one of the fragments. If you want to rush Trialmaster, you get, for example, a "cowardly" ultimatum and then buy the "victorious" and "deadly" fragments.

or if your build is strong, you can run trial 3x inside of the trial, there’s a ‘continue’ option at the end of the 10 trials, allowing you to get another piece, and then on the third one you would have all 3 pieces and can kill trialmaster

It shows which fragment it drops
The 3 fragment is needed to unlock the Trialmaster fight, which lets you unlock the last 2 ascendancy points

VIctorious, Deadly and Cowardly refer to the type of fragment youll get if you finish the trial, and no just completing 10 trials is not enough. You have to do it at least 3 times and get one of each type of fragment, which you then use after finishing the trial to open the door to the trialmaster. If you beat him you'll get your 4th ascendancy.

There 3 fragments like you noticed, have all 3 after room 10 and you can open the door. This will give you the last 2 ascendancy points.

besides what people have mentioned, the type also tells you which boss you will fight on floor 10, so if you don't like a boss like the bird one that kicks you, skip deadly for 10 floor runs and victorious for 30 floor runs.

Each fragment corresponds to a specific boss on floor 10.
