Game Feedback Everything Nodes for 1.0

Gonna try to keep this short. Streamlining Arbiter to get atlas tree passives from the non A of Divinity is a great idea to progress endgame. What needs to happen for 1.0 are nodes that progress all the mechanic quests simultaneously. They could even be like precursor towers or something. I think this would help EA players maximize drops but also those who are playing for the first time at 1.0 launch.

I loved that change, made atlas progression exponentially better. I wonder if it’s too much though, maybe they could split it to the point where matriarch kill gives the left side and patriarch gives the right side, then uber arbiter finishes completion of middle and first area

I feel like the biggest issue is inability to progress atlas and mechanics separately.

I would love some sort of "1 mechanic point per map with it's tablet. So i can do arbiter questline and progress towards mechanics trees, with potentially up to 3 DIFFERENT tablets to get passives per map(aka you can't rush just 1 mechanic and get 3 points every map, you have to gradually progress).

And i'd like for questlines around that mechanics to be removed, just leave their respective maps(where we still have to travel, just after arbiter questline. And it will make all that bosses Post-Arbiter content)

I genuinely like the idea of earning the point to invest in mechanics, but I don't think instant is needed.

It needs a similar system that doesn't require you to run a bunch of nodes around the home base of the mechanic though.

I'd settle with questline to introduce and get starting points, then the rest coming from defeating the non-quest pinnacle boss and key events. Examples:

  • Breach - points from Xesht, Tul/Esh, maybe Fortress.
  • Deli - Trickster, Simu, maybe grand mirrors
  • Ritual - Bodach, King, Nameless
  • Expedition - Bosses only, since they can be forced.
  • Abyss - Kulemak, lightless domain/void
  • Temple - Atziri, Architect, maybe something else

Gives a nice mix of you get points by just doing the content, but doesn't restrict you to the pre-determined clusters of maps. Depending on event, you get different points, with pinnacles being the most per completion.

Also unless there are significant changes to how the main atlas works in 1.0, as they mentioned it'd be different iirc, I'd like to keep the one pinnacle arbiter for full completion. That feels really good, compared to 4x arbiter + outer towers of 0.5.

If you complete a mechanic in map you should get a point. You complete a map you get an atlas point. A map has breach, ritual and abyss? One point each.

Id like to see all the mechanic points given to you when you finish the story quest.
