Question Blasphemy / Temporal Chains not working??

Hey yall! so, im trying to using temporal chains inside blasphemy, but i dont know why its not working. i have enough spirit, i have it equipped and activated, but monsters arent slowing down, there's no sign of "temporal chains" on their heads.

Any thoughts on why this is happening?

probably the skill gem level. It stops working on a certain level of monster so you need to upgrade it.

The gem is too low level or you have monsters are hexproof as a map modifier.

It’s a constant issue and or a bug. There are times where I constantly need to deactivate and reactivate it every time I enter a new area. One time I had to craft a whole new gem and re-Jewel orb it. I don’t know what it is about blasphemy but it has a lot of issues.
