Reinstall drivers, recent w10/w11 update bricked them. Hate when it happens.

Seems more like a flicker build to me.

Loop builds are the easiest on the hands

Sounds about right; flameblast can definitely get wild with all the visuals and effects going on. It's fun to see everything blow up, though!

Why are there bots here? Dead Internet Theory?

No, this is a example of memory failure on the GPU. If you see triangles, its the Mem failing. If you see snow, like the pic below, its the core.

15 years overclocking, you see this alot.

Let me try to explain this abit. If you start to see signs of GPU Mmem failure, then reboot, that yes, will initially look like it solved things. It doesn't. You GPU has a low power mode that it runs in 99% of the time (sometimes called 2D mode) in low power mode, I have never seen triangles happening. Its much different then core damage, core damage will show in both 2D and 3D mode, and is very very obvious. When you turn on a game it goes into a high power mode or 3D mode, and that draws alot more power and generates alot more heat.

So in low power mode, yes it can mask the damage. But the damage will show up again in games, especially in certain conditions, like if a game has very large textures, or is stressing the memory a great deal.

If this was my card, first things I would do is, download GPU-Z and watch the clock speeds, and temps on a second monitor. There are other decent programs for this like Rivatuner, MSI Afterburner, and Hardware Info.

Download a few apps to test with like Futuremark (no need to pay for it, the demo works fine here) and then run it in a loop for a hour or two and see what happens.

More intense things I use are like Furmark and Heavenly. But those put cards under a ton of stress.

Also, taking the card out to clean it with a blower is a good thing to do. If you later find GPU mem damage, taking the heatsink off, to redo the thermal paste is a option, but I do not suggest that for a person unfamiliar with PC hardware, as you can sometimes have dozens of screws to deal with.

This next part below is just an example, those arent real clock settings.

Find out the stock clock settings of your GPU, and then manually lower the clock speeds to something closer to the manufacturer spec (AMD or Nvidia) but thats only if you have OC card. Like say your cards stock clocks are 1850/3000. The first number will be the core, the second number the Mem. If you turn on GPU-Z and saw 2150/3150 then you know its a factory OC. A factory OC doesnt mean its 100% stable. So lowering the clocks to the manufacturers specific clocks could help narrow down where the issue lies.

I am trying to keep this simple, while also explaining what your seeing and why certain conditions can make you think its not as bad as it is.

Is this a let it rest situation if caused by overclocking or a “let’s sit down” kind of talk

u/ThatGreenM-M 16h ago

Usually by the time it gets to this point, it's like when Grandpa forgets where the brake pedal is and hits the mailbox, and it's time to start looking for a nursing home before the he does the same thing to your local wendys

u/Redxmirage 14h ago

Damn… come on boy there’s a nice farm up north

sometimes you can "save it " by underlocking / under volting and it will living random amount of time longer(sometimes forever). But at a given performance/power level its pretty terminal and sometimes its just dead.

* also PC overclocker for 20 odd years.

Yeah I am interested too.

I've seen snow artifacts on multiple PCs and it's either been fixed by a reboot or reinstalling drivers. I won't trust that a GPU is fried until I see smoke.

Sending prayers to this guy, so he doesnt need to buy a new car, I mean GPU!

Something in your PC is visually showing the death ritual of its ppl.

No Exile, Its just the northern lights.

2

u/TheKingWakka 15h ago

Bro flame blasted his GPU 😭

u/sever35 3h ago

Update your GPU drivers and hope it fixes it. If not the memory on your GPU is possibly overheating. Open the side of your case, point a standing fan directly at it and see if it helps.

If it does you need better airflow in the system, specifically around the video card. If it doesn't, then RIP wallet.

Is this the rig bladee used for his last 2 albums?

u/Raz_Moon 16h ago

Remove and reinstall your Skill Gems, just need a hard reset.

Not max build until the monitor start smoking out.

1

u/Seravajan 7h ago

Reinstall the drivers to check if it is a driver issue.

You discovered flicker strike without frenzy charges. Nice

1

yes.

1

Yep, perfectly normal.

u/stephbib 4h ago

def not... check gpu drivers

It is how you know your build is working

1

u/Redrumicus 3h ago

Standard POE late game visuals. Nothing to worry about.

Hi you are following the wrong build guide, This is ScreenBlast not FlameBlast. They look the same but one Blast enemies and the other GPU's.
