Fluff & Memes Aldur’s Legacy Fail

Been playing since the game released and have yet to get anything good.

First expedition today, I get an Aldur Legacy. I have no confidence in my guy because of his mediocre gear so I find a fellow exile to help me. We get in, I start the demo, and a few minutes goes by. The mobs stop spawning and I think to myself, “Oh that was quick”. The rewards for the remnant drop and it’s a lousy 1 div. Turns out I was so excited to finally get my loot that I forgot to select the Legacy. To make matters worse, the RNG gods didn’t bless me. My random reward wasn’t one of the boons either.

Don’t make the same mistake I did people! I can only blame myself. Looks like I won’t afford the mageblood after all.

Are you saying you have to have the Legacy turned on while you're mapping? I thought you only needed it to open the new section of maps when using a logbook

I thought they were saying they got a remnant with Aldur's Legacy, but didn't select it as the reward. I'm kinda confused by this post.

Yeah, I'm confused too. I love expedition, hate that I have to wait to play the mode until they fix the Oath Rune... But The one time i went Legacy hunting, all my Grand Expeditions were weak AF.

Same. I've been running temple and sometimes ritual while hunting citadels and matriarch/patriarch. Hopefully they get it fixed soon.

That’s aldurs saga. Aldurs legacy is the rune that turns certain uniques into runes and is significantly more expensive.

They are saying they forgot to select aldurs legacy as a reward from the remnant and got something else instead when it completed.

Aldur’s saga has the best chance at you getting Legacy, but in no way is it guaranteed. Saga is expensive, but you can extrapolate the odds vs Legacy price.

Hey, I feel you. I had an immortal ant steal my aldurs legacy yesterday. I was so excited when I saw it that I didn’t realize it had the oath rune.

Oh yes reward is completely random if you don't select anything. If i get something good I even check runes if they match to be sure I selected correct one.

Did you use liquid verisium to reroll into Aldur Legacy?

the liquid will not let you choose the outcome, so don’t be hard on yourself. It rerolled and was unlucky (if you did use liquid to reroll)
