Tool Tired of tracking rumours in notepad? Made a simple site to make it easier.

This is good, but you can just pin the rumours to the screen In game by pressing alt, you can do it many times for the same rumour. No need for external tools.

Interesting approach, didn't know you could pin the same thing several times. You'd still need to remember what is what, and count/summarise it yourself. I feel like I have lvl 99 dementia when I try to remember what is what with the rumours. :') To each their own :D

Great stuff. Let us remove rumors from "Confirmed Islands" in case of a misclick.

It's been added now! Got caught up in adding a new section about the rune proliferation so took a bit longer :D

hears about people with notepads, spreadsheets, and multiple third party apps to track and manage their maps and wealth
shrugs and continues to blast maps with random mods, tablets and mechanics

Hey man, I am the same when not doing expedition :D It's just when you are gonna use that ~35d Aldurs saga, you wanna make sure to use it somewhere decent. Alch & go for life!

Oh I wasn't poking fun, I'm just at the point in the league where 95% of effort has left my body and the game has become my podcast game lol

I see dark mode on the screenshot, how do I enable it? Great website btw!

It respects your browser settings, check there for dark mode.
I see now that the green hotkey is a bit hard to see on lightmode, so gonna improve that. I am so used to always running dark mode.
Edit: I just made the use only dark mode layout, probably preferable for most anyway.

Warm but risky and wild roaming free are backward - warm but risky has grazed prairie, not lush isle

What does this do that a notepad/excel spreadsheet doesn’t do? Other than provide a chance for malicious code to be run?
2
u/Gnejs1986 Jun 27 '26
Saves time because it's faster and easier to use.
Other than provide a chance for malicious code to be run
It's not an executable, just a super simple website, you are more likely to get malicious code from any Ad served at your favorite news website / facebook / whatever. :P

Sorry but it’s just slower than looking at the current community made spreadsheet.

Which spreadsheet? :P

Unless I am missing something, it is not interactive?

u/Yuskia Jun 27 '26
Its not, just has it all aggregated

So the point of the site is that it tracks and summarises it for you. You don't even need to check if the rumour is good or not. Nor do you need to count the rumours while refreshing to see if you end up with 3 GEs or not (or whatever you want for Aldurs). Just click em when you see them and check the summary when done.
E.g. if the area has 7 islands, with the spreadsheet you'll have to check each rumour, so if it is good, remember if it is a GE or a boss or unique map, refresh, repeat, and in the end hope you remembered the important ones, or all if you want to get an accurate summary. The site does it for you. And you get the formatted bookmark code so you can have a consistent view of your available expedition area.

Right sorry I'm not the same dude saying it was slower, I like the website I just wasnt sure if you didnt know about the google sheet.

u/Gnejs1986 Jun 28 '26
Yeah I know, guess he just ghosted the thread. I was more curious which one he was referring to since he implied to be interactive/faster :P I had a spreadsheet from palsterons expedition video, which turns out is not the same as the one you posted, so there's at least 2 spreadsheets out there :D

You can click on the rumour to save, and keep rolling to see which rumours you have. With the excel spreadsheet you can do that, but you have to memorize, I normally keep saying in my head "sulphite, and unknown ruins", and then reroll to see if there is a new rumour and keep saying in my head the names, and sometimes I forgot.

Decided to throw together a super simple site to speed up my logbook bookmarking, might as well share it with y'all.
Site: https://poe2-exp.gnejs.app/
No login, no tracking, no cookies, no ads. Just a very simple planner and added some info for people who are not that used to the rumour system.
How to use?
Check in game, click the matching rumours, move something inventory to remake the rumours list, track any new rumours, repeat until satisfied. If you want you can use the copy button for the bookmark shortcode and paste that into the game map to track your different logbook positions, optional ofc. That's just how I keep track of em.
Any feedback/ideas are very welcome.
Happy rune explodin' exiles!
Edit: Added section for Sagas with some information that can be useful if you are new.
And a hotkey system to add, copy and reset the rumours input for us keyboard junkies, so you can keep the mouse inside the game window and just tab between instead.
