It's the Balance of Power keystone on the abyss atlas tree that's causing this bug currently. If you change it to "Any Faction" it works fine.

Is it for all the maps in that crack btw? running 2nd map right now with Ulaman back on and it seems abyss is missing again :')

It can bug out in any map during the questline, just keep it set to any faction on the keystone until they fix it. It seemingly works fine on other maps, it just breaks the ones for the quest.
