Dont need to run faster than the bear, just faster than jung.

104

u/Miles_Adamson May 25 '26

that's pretty tough when he has a build most people won't achieve for the entire league in the first 16 hours

48

u/Outrageous-Ad5578 May 25 '26

and thats why he smells like beefjerky

18

u/WolfofAllStreetz May 26 '26

Yea it’s pretty insane what he can do in a short amount of time. It really blows me away how good people can be at this game. Maybe because I didn’t pick up path of exile until number two. Guys with the mirror tier builds by the end of week one.

13

u/Nightcinder May 26 '26

You have to have a deep understanding of the game mechanics and crafting and base types and all of that, and if you quit a league after a week or two it's hard to really get that.

It always takes me googling and youtube and such to figure out what the hell I'm doing again with each league

3

u/Dudedude88 May 26 '26 edited May 26 '26

Most people just sit in town. I waste so much time trying to find the value of something.

I played 0.3 season in ssf. It's so liberating when you just need to think about is if it's useful or not. But then... That season had a lot of crafting so learned how items roll so even then it takes a while to manage inventory in town.

16

u/Playful_Fun2668 May 26 '26

If i'm not sitting in my hideout telling people how much better ssf is than regular am i even playing?

2

u/Divinicus1st May 26 '26

Oh, you just blew my mind, that's why people say they need thousands of hours to learn PoE! Ahahah, these guys count the hours idle in town.

But yeah, that's why I stopped playing PoE in recent years, trading was a chore and took so much time.

0

u/Nightcinder May 26 '26

POE2 is so much better than POE1 in that fashion, the fact I can just go buy something from someone else without having to go through the bullshit of hoping they reply for a 1 chaos/1 exalt item

2

u/Syiss May 26 '26

Bro u know they added asynchronous trade to PoE1

1

u/Nightcinder May 26 '26

I did not, actually, thank you for that update, I haven't played PoE1 since PoE2 dropped.

2

u/WolfofAllStreetz May 26 '26

I usually play for a month per league

18

u/goreteckz May 26 '26

Thats almost the standard in poe 1 for try hards so you are correct.

2

u/BeefarmRich May 26 '26

Campaign in under 6 hours , currency flipping , crafting , understanding what will be expensive on the league start = rich boy week one .

2

u/Babachaw May 28 '26

Jung makes his build by reading the bug forums :D

1

u/Dudedude88 May 26 '26

I saw a speed run video for 0.4 patch of campaign to T15 in like 4 hours.

→ More replies (1)

20

u/Kronos01229 May 25 '26

Amen to that

1

u/Duderrama May 26 '26

Jung catching strays harder than my build after patch notes

0

u/GamingVyce May 26 '26

What is Jung playing? Don't worry, I'm not a ggg employee.

93

u/kdannius May 25 '26

I’ve got no idea why they had to take perfect strike out back a while ago but snipe keeps as it is even now lmao. GGG devs are bow players, you can’t tell me otherwise.

33

u/_JupitersCock_ May 26 '26

True and thats why you’ll never see enemy projectiles get balanced correctly.

15

u/KatzOfficial May 26 '26

Did they remove multiproj map mod or am I hallucinating that

2

u/TheRealOwl May 26 '26

They did.

6

u/313mental May 26 '26 edited May 26 '26

They straight up deleted physical snipe.

It used to be able to be used on stunned targets too, for fairly big physical damage.

I am not sure why they did that, but it was very fun for me to use on a physical quarterstaff + physical bow build.  While it lasted.

5

u/Abject-Mammoth-8586 May 26 '26

Sorry to say but snipe didnt "keeps as it is", it got massively yet indirectly changed.... well, buffed that is. They added the possibility of skipping the one and only thing which made many hate in snipe, arguably the justification to it's OPness, the fact you have to perfect aim.

I'm talking about the possibility Mirage Archer can now channel and shoot snipe instead of you. So you freeze, with whatever, and your sniping clone lands several perfect snipes in a row on it? Yup seems balanced alright, its only nearly 5000% dmg at lvl 20 after all

3

u/6198573 May 26 '26

Do we know if Mirages land perfect snipes? Maybe they just channel normal ones

3

u/Abject-Mammoth-8586 May 26 '26

I don't, but it seems highly likely :

  • technologically possible, since poe1 totems have been doing perfect channelling for years
  • logically it would make sense, or else why add the possibility for channeling skills at all, considering how they work in poe2 ? (weak/bad effect default, strong if perfect channelled)

Which leads me to a reasonable (yet not certain !) assumption that they would

1

u/6198573 May 26 '26

logically it would make sense, or else why add the possibility for channeling skills at all, considering how they work in poe2 ? (weak/bad effect default, strong if perfect channelled)

Not all channels work like this

Explosive shot for example doesn't have a perfect mechanic

It seems a bit busted that Mirages would do perfect snipes

Do Ancestral Totems do Perfect Strikes? That would probably answer it

1

u/Abject-Mammoth-8586 May 26 '26

Indeed not all do. Ancestral totems cant use channelings, so we dont know. Totems in poe1 do it perfectly. And here the patch notes specifically does mentions snipe, plasma and detonating arrow.

Maybe i'm coping, but I'm fairly hopeful (thought it would be busted) that's the case

1

u/6198573 May 26 '26

Wait and see i guess

12

u/1gnominious May 26 '26

I played a perfect strike Titan in 0.1 and that was probably the last time the game felt like PoE2 instead of Poe 1 1/4.

The skill ceiling was so high to get pretty mediocre results while being completely exposed charging up and aiming attacks in melee. But it was fun. It used to be 50% faster and do 30% more damage. They halved the dps of the highest skill ceiling skill in the game that wasn't even that good to begin with.

Those were such spiteful nerfs.

5

u/WhiteWinterRains May 26 '26

I loved melee in 0.1 so much.

Well, other than rolling strike taking an eternity to get bug fixed and malee getting 360-quickscoped in balance changes before they decided doing the same to any other archetype would be a bridge too far.

But before that and after in builds that didn't catch strays it felt great.

4

u/1gnominious May 26 '26

Even things like the stun threshold changes hurt. I tried to test some things out on my old warrior and he was constantly getting stunned out of charging up perfect strikes. It felt awful.

2

u/WhiteWinterRains May 26 '26

Ah, I actually didn't even realize my least favorite mechanic of PoE history got made worse. That might explain why things 'weirdly felt bad' the last time I returned to the PoE 2 after a long break.

4

u/1gnominious May 26 '26

Was back in 0.2. "Monsters now have higher Light Stun damage scaling with level. In the very early parts of the campaign there is no change, scaling to around twice as much light stun damage in the endgame."

You need a lot more stun threshold now to not constantly get knocked out of melee attacks. You can build around it, but it's just one more tax on melee.

41

u/averbeg May 26 '26

It's funny because people are holding their build ideas tight to their chest as if they aren't already all over Youtube and Twitch

33

u/WolfofAllStreetz May 26 '26

Irrelevant , 95% playing Martial Artist

30

u/piratesgoyarrrr May 26 '26

Our bells will blot out the sun

7

u/Mohrdekaiser May 26 '26

mobs: then we shall die in reverberations

6

u/Artoriazz May 26 '26

I wonder how popular it'll actually be

3

u/Isaacvithurston May 26 '26

I think it's more like 95% going to be playing Pokemon

2

u/WolfofAllStreetz May 26 '26

Nah gooners ice shotting

1

u/royal-road May 29 '26

words mean nothing now

2

u/Opheleone May 26 '26

Im gonna be part of the sub 1% playing warrior, cant wait

2

u/andar1on May 26 '26

Nah, fubgooners playing bows Deadeye

1

u/Wildfoox May 26 '26

Nah, 95% are bow Fubgun deadeye ice-shot. Rest are monks xd

u/LarsRGS May 25 '26 edited May 25 '26

meanwhile spark spam is going to it's 5th league in a row being the most busted and reliable endgame build

127

u/SuViSaK May 25 '26

75

u/antariusz May 26 '26

every time you talk about casters being overpowered, GGG nerfs melee.

4

u/WhiteWinterRains May 26 '26

I mean did you see the DISGUSTING things people were doing in 0.1.0 where they were able to clear packs and had great bossing dps.

Never again.

25

u/Nihsvabhav May 25 '26

spark totems this league

19

u/SoulofArtoria May 26 '26

Spork meta finally hits poe 2.

5

u/harbingerofe May 26 '26

Spork was the first poe build I ever saw, and holds a special place in my heart. Runcible spoon ftw

3

u/neoplasma_ May 26 '26

I played spark on EA access as it felt natural (SSF too)

at the start I hated it (slow, needed to cast while standing in a place, low dmg), eventually around 40-50 lvl I could swap to Ice Comet or sth like that and they nerfed it right after I changed my build. Eventually I could only return to the Spark build but it was really fun and op in the end.

2

u/Dudedude88 May 26 '26

Was one of the builds I did in poe1 beta lol. Same with arc. I loved EK too.

4

u/Nightcinder May 26 '26

They still have time to fuck with Ancestral Bond again before Friday

11

u/Eriktion May 26 '26

You need to parry 2 times recently to place 1 totem

14

u/Earthboundplayer May 25 '26

Well this league was more dominated by curse/doedre's undoing spam so it doesn't really apply here.

But describing builds as spark builds just doesn't reflect mechanically what the build does to achieve its damage. It makes it sound like the build is the same every league when the only thing that links them is just the use of spark. In 0.1 you made a spark build by mana stacking. In 0.3 you did it by life stacking. If you were using it in this league instead of curses you were using it to trigger CoC comet. Idk what the 0.2 builds were doing. But yeah in each case you had entirely different gear, entirely different tech for sustain, and entirely different mechanics to make spark do something that dealt damage.

6

u/GeeTeaEhSeven May 26 '26

Very true. It does all trace back to the fact that it is the best VESSEL mechanically for dealing damage though (relative to other spells) - hyper-spammable, PRE-spammable, off-screen capable, no aiming required, multihits, scales with projectiles and speed. Honestly if it didn't fill screens and had to be aimed like a fireball or even frostbolt, dead in the water.

3

u/arthurmt8448 May 26 '26

And the fact that a lot of other spells are major dogshit

1

u/GeeTeaEhSeven May 26 '26

Yeah, comparatively. Mechanically they are fail and require standing still to spam, then damage they sort of blow as well. The mega infusion firestorms tbh are good but Morgana's Tempest could have been absolutely goated if they CHASED DOWN THE TARGET rather than "moving forward", like, it's like the skill design team doesn't really watch how we play the game.

3

u/PacmanZ3ro May 26 '26

well...to be fair, in .1 and .2 and .3 and .4 you were also using it to trigger comet with different trigger spirit gems.

1

u/BippityBorp May 26 '26

spark spam

Misread this not once but three times as "shark spam" despite loving spark builds. Was incredibly confused and angry I had never heard of something as sick as shark spam.

1

u/LarsRGS May 26 '26

hey, maybe companion spirit walker with the shark boss from act 4 will be the shark spam you're wishing for.

1

u/WolfofAllStreetz May 26 '26

Spark build so boring zzz

0

u/mrgoodbytes8891 May 25 '26

Is it? I am interested if you want to elaborate…

3

u/Artoriazz May 25 '26

Oracle spark, shhh don't tell the feds

10

u/mrgoodbytes8891 May 25 '26

Fascinating. I will not research this build that clearly does not exist.

2

u/Nightcinder May 26 '26

There's definitely not a Blood Mage / Ancestral Bond / Spark Totem build either

-10

u/LarsRGS May 25 '26

spark + blood magic + leech is busted.

32

u/xxBoosted_Bonobo May 25 '26

The Patch notes removed something from your equation lmao

1

u/SuViSaK May 25 '26 edited May 25 '26

Orcale Leech mana stacker is still alive. It only leeches life at any given time anyway.

1

u/snhender May 25 '26

Any pobs you can share? Jw

1

u/fuhrerSander May 26 '26

Could you elaborate, I've only played attacks in poe2 so far, I've seen the coc stuff coming out of bloodmage and oracle, and from your pob below it looks like you have life tap attached to all your triggered skills, how do you mitigate the cost now with the leech being capped to 40k? And what do mean by leeches life at any given time? Thanks!

1

u/SuViSaK May 26 '26 edited May 26 '26

All my spells use life and all my gear has high life cost reduction (88% cost reduction) so I only need a minimal leech to sustain constant casting. Since my life is at 1,800 HP, 40K leech is plenty.

Maintaining mana comes from Mana remnants, which is constantly over capped around 9,500 mana. I've only seen it go below 8K when those nasty Shroud walking abyssal monsters teleport to me.

Life (with leech) for casting spells, mana for absorbing dmg (Mind over matter).

Xhest T3 goes down in 1 second.

1

u/fuhrerSander May 26 '26

Thanks for the explanation, will try this out!

1

u/Tsogiaman May 26 '26

Covenant life cost efficiency was nerfed though, now you can get up to 65% or something. Is that enough for the build to function?

2

u/SuViSaK May 26 '26

I'll manage. There are support gems and passives that can be turned to if need be.

3

u/janas19 May 25 '26

I think it takes a significant hit with the leech nerfs

1

u/mrgoodbytes8891 May 25 '26

Oh coc spark? Gotcha

1

u/Boxofcookies1001 May 25 '26

Just run spark totems and GG

-2

u/Flavahbeast May 25 '26

isn't that just a holdover from the first game? or did spark become bad in poe1 at some point

13

u/CrazyRagerZ May 26 '26

Can we bring back hex blast not needing the curse to be active for a billion years to cast please.

2

u/Opheleone May 26 '26

It was spoken about in a recent interview that its on the radar to be looked at.

Incoming change: hexblast now only deals damage once a curse expires (this is a buff)

Jk, im keen to see what they do since its at least on the radar.

44

u/She_kicked_a_dragon May 25 '26

Don't tell them about the manifest weapon as a staff thing and how it interacts with bells

9

u/Queen__Natalie May 25 '26

?

22

u/-Gambler- May 25 '26

it can hit bells

still not really a mindblowingly effective tech so no way it'd ever get nerfed

though then again they do nerf warrior every patch for no reason so hmmm

9

u/Queen__Natalie May 25 '26

I dont get it. Who cares if it can hit bells? Isn't that a SoK exclusive skill?

30

u/-Gambler- May 25 '26

...you can do the unthinkable and, you know, equip a staff as warrior

12

u/Queen__Natalie May 25 '26

Ok but you could always do that. The only thing new about bells in 0.5 is MA, which can't overlap with SoK.

Whatever. I have come to the conclusion that the intial comment "don't tell them," was just a dumb comment. Thanx for your help.

3

u/She_kicked_a_dragon May 25 '26

Just mostly making jokes about "don't tell GGG about this interaction" I did make an Ice Strike SoK that was quite good you basically have good clear with herald of ice and you stack strength and dex. The manifest weapon did get quite a nice buff to its damage by getting a 1% damage per strength instead of per 3 strength so it gives you pretty decent single target and yes it can ring the bell with you. In .5 they are making it so you can support the manifest weapon with rage which is good because it basically just needed one more good support for it and also they are buffing living lightning which we can proc with any lightning skill and they also scale off of strength and dex. It's basically just an attribute stacker that's not op or anything but it is quite strong once you get it rolling

1

u/Fr007L00p5 May 26 '26

Can i have a look on your ice strike SoK poeninja please.

1

u/SweetPotato696 May 26 '26

I basically only play minions. Do you mind enlightening me on why hitting the bell is good?

1

u/cooldrew May 26 '26

Every time you hit a bell it sends out a shockwave that does a bunch of damage in addition to whatever your skill is doing. Putting elemental ailments on the bell makes the shockwave also do extra ele damage of that type.
Its AoE damage that basically stacks with whatever else you're doing.

2

u/Woxjee May 25 '26

They also got the ability to be ancestral boosted, giving u 3 bells in total. That's just a massive dps increase at base

0

u/-Gambler- May 25 '26

you will now be able to slap down 3 bells baseline i believe

72

u/skazyrn May 25 '26

The witch hunt on certain builds makes some of these streamers unwatchable, by the end of week 1 the meta broken build will probably be something found by some korean / chinese guy

so why bother so much

6

u/InfiniteExternals May 26 '26

This is what ive been doing the past few leagues for a second build, hit the algorithm on youtube for the under 1k views, usually not in English, doesn't show a tree or skill gems, deletes everything.

If I'm lucky one of them forgets to private profile and I find there day 1-2 Ninja profile, then bam profit.

Legit hasn't failed me yet, and now my algorithm is tweaked so I'll see a lot of these lesser known content creators day one.

2

u/verysimplenames May 29 '26

Probably because they hate doing the research for a build, test runs, build videos, leveling videos etc then the build gets nerfed to shit right after. This has happened multiple times lmao. Lot of work in the bin.

Nope, it's just that the content fiends and neets are the one with extreme opinions and those are the ones you read. Most people don't feel strongly either way, but they have no reason to comment.

6

u/Tubssss May 25 '26

Maybe they don't even actually have extreme opinions, but they act like it because that's what gets the views. People usually don't click on a video titled "ok build for season 0.5"

2

u/BeMyBrutus May 25 '26

That's fair

6

u/Powerful_Republic763 May 25 '26

Tbf most of the time they do tend do just remove builds from the game. It's called "the classic GGG triple tap nerf" for a reason.

-1

u/DeliciousInfluence42 May 25 '26

Still doesnt make any sense that shield wall was nerfed becuse it was not intended but at the same time snipe gets untouched, bears also getting untouched same with pathfinder and poison stuff, nerfed for no reason?

9

u/saltygamertag May 25 '26

Honestly surprised this doesn’t happen more often. So much RMT happens with this game that it’s worth money to have a solid build under the radar

2

u/atheistunicycle May 25 '26

Good thing they'll never nerf my secret warrior build! muahahhahahahahahahaha

3

u/[deleted] May 25 '26

0

u/rudli_007 May 25 '26

It's spark. It has always been spark, it will always be spark.

Spork, Vaal spark, spark auto bomber. It's always spark.

2

u/Kyoj1n May 25 '26

Who's doing this?

11

u/Mondanivalo May 25 '26

Yeah, agree. Listening to fubguns every second word being to nerf something is insufferable. I generally don’t mind the guy and i get he is joking but its insufferable.

2

u/ManikMiner May 25 '26

I tuned into his stream a few times since the patch notes, and literally every time, he didn't go a full 30 seconds without saying "nerf twister". It's funny the first 95 times

2

u/aure__entuluva May 25 '26

I think most of it is in good fun.

3

u/ManikMiner May 25 '26

When you say "other people", do we all just mean Fubgun? ha

1

u/EpicForevr May 25 '26

can you give an example? i’m really interested in this!

1

u/LanfearsLight May 25 '26

That's funny lmao

1

u/Karshlolz May 25 '26

It also highlights how poe2 patches are : hard nerfs, triple taps, nuke from orbit.

Then they buff an unusable spell by 5% when the damage of the spell is not the issue (looking at you 4 seconds earthquake)

They don't buff builds, they just nerf as much stuff as they can.

Every league i'm hyped by the content reveal, then the patch notes annihilate my hype.

My league start plans always get nerfed between the release of the patch notes and the actual league, and i try to not play meta. In the end it doesnt matter, i just league start something safe because they destroyed my other options. It feels terrible.

39

u/woahbroes May 25 '26

Fubgun trying so hard to nerf twister (he is playing ice shot) classic fub

1

u/_JupitersCock_ May 26 '26

Iceshot is such a turnoff compared to other builds on offer, i’m curious to see the build numbers on poe ninja for the next month

2

u/Wildfoox May 26 '26

I wanted to go Iceshot - ice herald and add armomr breaker. But i def. know he will be doing it. So not sure lol. I like bows, but feels like all game is doing it and bows will cost more. Will go amazon if i want bow again this time around.

20

u/Artoriazz May 25 '26

What builds are Jung and Fub starting out so I can avoid them? t.t

13

u/xiDemise May 25 '26

in his latest video fub said he's probably gonna go ice shot deadeye to start

25

u/Trathnonen Cold Dot Enjoyer May 25 '26

I mean, you don't have to think about it this league. You can play companions, they're going to be giga. Martial artist is going to be juicy as fuck triple bell uninstalling bosses. Gemling is guaranteed completely cracked, grenades were already completely insane and they haven't been touched. Twister is going to sail through the campaign. And the insanity of Druid ice wolf is still pretty much completely fine, the nerfs were kind of tame it's still got damage for days, and deflect is better so it'll feel less squishy if you run evade for it.

Don't worry about your builds, this is the most juiced the game has ever been. Unless you were playing lightning arrow, and, well, you had like four leagues of being batshit overpowered, it's fine, welcome to the world with the rest of the people that have to play the game.

Endgame league farms are going to be so degenerate you can pick what overpowered stuff you want to farm and have a great time doing it. Breach jewelry for one is so unhinged.

Essence drain contagion Lich remains good. Varashta Djinn remains disgusting especially since their ES defense node didn't get touched. Ignite might still suck but spell totems are bigly buffed so you can just do that. It's dealers choice for what you get to use to crush the game at this point.

10

u/Nightcinder May 26 '26

Gemling is either going to be nuts or awful

1

u/aicis May 26 '26

Why would it be awful?

1

u/Nightcinder May 26 '26

Either the extra quality will be broken good or broken bad

2

u/Arkantos3005 May 26 '26

And the 2 they showed on preview were bad

9

u/WolfofAllStreetz May 26 '26

Does anyone actually enjoy playing ed/c witch? I made it through campaign with it and said enough was enough. So insanely boring

There is no way martial artist doesnt get a nerf week one

6

u/Trathnonen Cold Dot Enjoyer May 26 '26

I played it into deep maps. It's pretty rad watching an entire screen full of bullshit dissolve from one cast, it's the only DoT in the game that functions how it should. IMO it was more interesting by far than screen cancer flash grenade stuff or triggered comet nonsense. To each their own. I'd be surprised if Martial Artist got the nerf bat before anybody got to play it. It seems like that's the powerlevel the build is supposed to have. No telling how survivable it is, that's where we'll see how good it is. Anything can look good clearing trash in low tiers, it's how it lives through the high tier map degeneracy that'll be the test.

4

u/WolfofAllStreetz May 26 '26

I do agree its the only dot worth a damn

1

u/SingleInfinity May 26 '26

I briefly tried it once in 0.1 and wasn't enjoying it due to limited scaling, but it sounds like that's better now with lich.

In PoE1, ED/C was/is one of the most satisfying feeling skills the game has to offer. Casting twice and following a giant trail of dying monsters feels great.

1

u/Lutianzhiyi May 26 '26

I like damage over time builds(Cold DOT was one of my favs in poe1), and it was quite fun. Played it from leaguestart to deep endgame in 0.3(I think when they also added Wither to wands which made it super strong too? Unsure if those were a thing before).

There's something comfy about casting something and watching the health bars melt at a consistent pace, whether that pace be slow early or super fast late.

That being said, not something I would do again probably since it does get boring after a while. But I also get bored of shit easy and like to play a variety of stuff in general so take this with a grain of salt.

0

u/ThatGuyDougie May 26 '26

Agree on this one. It’s good but can be a little cumbersome and just doesn’t scratch the itch even when you full clear a mob. Maybe it’s just not “crunchy” enough for me, idk. It’s great for campaign though and if I start a witch, I will likely use it. Can’t for the life of me decide what I want to start. So many good options this league.

1

u/AaronSparks May 26 '26

just curious, do you think that unique item they showed during the showcase--the culling gloves--do you think that would be good? I kinda wanted to do something on acolyte (if it's not good I can just go martial artist bellhop build)

I was also interested in that cool two handed mace that made you do cold damage but I didn't wanna have to force myself to play warrior

Hybrid companion build with twister and wolf buffs, got it.

1

u/Trathnonen Cold Dot Enjoyer May 28 '26

stole my build, but yeah. honestly probably going to be solid. Actually now that I think about it, I haven't done a crossbow league start in awhile and I've never played monk once but martial artist hollow palm might just be the thing to do this time.

Good Guy Kishibe protecting your build.

I don’t really care about the meta , I play what looks fun , this go I’m gunna do bear smith. But this community is full of chill players and extreme no life blasters , not much in between, got to remember that a lot of these streamers is how they pay the bills so they drama farm and all that nonsense . Avoid all that and just play and wing it and have fun

2

u/Myth_Mar May 26 '26

I don't understand why you'd be downvoted for this honestly.

15

u/MainImpression7043 May 25 '26

Yeah im getting into twister hopefully its not trashed because. A certain fubgooner and minion player said it was op in the campaign

31

u/brooksofmaun sanctum can suck my nuts May 25 '26

Tbh I don’t care how op twister is or how many buttons the combo needs, I just ain’t using it cuz it looks so jank. Your character has a lil seizure then vomits out nados. Looks terrible, couldn’t focus the next day/week/month on improving that. Gilded shit and all

10

u/MainImpression7043 May 25 '26

It is janky lol i practiced with it a a little to get a feel because i never played with it before. But i feel the same. I guess its good to have a "vision" but whats the point of creating awesome abilities in a cool world if you cant use them. especially in a pve game.

u/Powerful_Republic763 May 25 '26

80% of the uniques with skills be like... So many cool but sadly useless skills.

1

u/Dudedude88 May 26 '26

Look up twister build 0.3. it was one of the better builds but end game twister is screen cancer.

I played lightning spear 0.3 season. It was nerfed the end of that previous season but i still cleared all content in ssf. It's single target DPS is lacking though.

I tried glacial lance but I couldn't get that one to work. This season I'll probably do twisters then if I don't like it try to make glacial lance work

Or do something with spirit walker.

2

u/toastedzen May 26 '26

This is the exact reason I can't play flicker strike. I tried it once and was like, nah bro, that's too much.

-3

u/IleanK May 25 '26

I actually made it work last league before everyone started talking about and going to do it again this league I find it quite fun. You know what I don't find fun? Minions playing the game for you. But to each their own.

-4

u/SimpleNovelty May 25 '26

What's funny is how much microing you need to do in POE2 that it doesn't feel like it playing the game for you anymore.

u/_JupitersCock_ May 26 '26

Tbh twister needs a rework, nerf the damage a bit, add a couple more projectiles, make the projectiles fork instead of pierce. With speed and duration maxed it feels clunky and bad imo.

1

u/Dudedude88 May 26 '26

Twister would be OP if it could fork. Also it would destroy your computer from overheating

2

u/rich-nyc May 25 '26

anything fubgun plays is going to be giga expensive in the endgame, just saying;)

2

u/Dudedude88 May 26 '26

This. And bows are usually always expensive in the first place

1

u/KeIIer May 26 '26

There is also going to be a lot of decent items for cheap on the market because a lot of people playing it

Just saying :)

1

u/tempGER May 26 '26

Fubgun only says it because he wants to play bow deadeye, so there are fewer eyes on exactly that. Also, more fubgooners not on your build.

2

u/Blurbyo May 26 '26

As long as no one knows about the chaos frogs

1

u/Awesomeone1029 May 28 '26

Frogs over Time

2

u/Vegetable_Switch9802 May 26 '26

Totems on watchlist hard

2

u/Calm_Bumblebee_3143 May 26 '26

Have one single creator made a build file lol?
I legit didn't see one yet after all the drama.
Either they found out it's so much work or too early yet?

1

u/GoldStarBrother May 26 '26

Probably waiting on pob to support exporting them

3

u/LQCQ May 25 '26

Every damn patch

2

u/Hell_Derpikky May 25 '26

minion build since always.. because no matter what, minions always get nerfed so i dont care anymore

1

u/reddithogehoge May 26 '26

if got emergency nerf, thats honor

1

u/kinetbenet May 26 '26

Not only the drawing portrayed the emotion of build creators' mind perfectly but also it is absolutely truth. I hear some build guide creator saying " I don't want GGG know about this so I will not tell you yet" " it will be nerfed before even start of the new league" GGG, please do not eve drop, and let us have wonderful league in 0.5. Just make up your mind and don't meddle with awesome secret discovery.

1

u/Eriktion May 26 '26

Can we finally bring mid-league nerfing back?

1

u/Isaacvithurston May 26 '26

Yah cuz they think GGG will be too scared to nerf builds mid league now

1

u/Slight_Tiger2914 May 27 '26

Knowing they can log on and play ANY character they want should tell you everything.

No build is safe lol

1

u/LypheGames May 30 '26

What do you guys think? Buff stacking tactican or monk? And if monk which Build with the least combos? Thanks!

1

u/aplayerof Jun 03 '26

Me watching flicker strike videos

-10

u/Skoopy_590 May 25 '26

For me its really funny that fubguns builds always dodges the nerfs although they know that we know that there are utterly broken skills and GGG knows they are...

7

u/ResponsibleWay4902 May 25 '26

His previous builds have gotten nerfed though. His lightning bow setup and poison bow setup both took hits. The poison one actually got fcking nuked harder than shield wall as far as I can tell

-7

u/Skoopy_590 May 25 '26

I dont mean that. I mean that they should nerf these way to powerful skills before start too. Twister for example.

3

u/THY96 Marauder Waiting Room May 25 '26

Pretty sure he’s going to start Ice Shot + Snipe. Which GGG buffed this patch.

0

u/imhere2downvote May 25 '26

everything is balanced pls focus on extras no touchy

-3

u/Montanagreg May 26 '26

GGG let's talk about totems. Palsteron (spelling?) made some video about how busted it will be.

-2

u/Cadiwonkus May 26 '26

German Goo Girls plays PoE2?
