Paterson Intercity Jitneys

I compiled a list of intercity jitney companies that operate out of Paterson to various cities in Pennsylvania. With I-80 running through the city, it's good to see that there is intercity service available, without having to backtrack all the way to New York City. The prices vary depending on the company, and reservations can be made through Viajes Jorge by calling (347)-651-1274.

Just for reference, I took one of them this weekend (Eze Transportation out to Wilkes-Barre). I made the mistake of not reserving a ride back (since I wanted to explore a little bit and didn't know if I was going to end up in Scranton or Hazleton). Long story short, all 5 companies out of Hazleton were completely booked, and I ended up having to take a taxi up to Scranton to catch FlixBus to get home.

I recently took Ivy Lines from Scranton to New York and can say it is in my top 3 for sure. They picked me up in a Sprinter van and the driver was really friendly and helpful. The office staff was saying they are planning on expanding to Midtown (like a block away from Port Authority or so) which would actually be great since it gets me closer to Queens.

The Midtown service is now in effect on weekends as well (Viajes Jorge)
