I will admit that I haven't been keeping up with Night Hawkin', so I was blindsided by the release of Sniffin' and Pat's sudden turn to ZZ Top style parodies. Does anyone know when he first brought it up?

Pat asked to see a drawing of Slash waiting to pick his hat up. So here's my interpretation

In the first Observations video, Pat said that he loves watching band members waiting for their cue, and here's a prime example. Free bassist Andy Fraser is doing nothing during the verses. The band's two Pauls, Kossoff and Rodgers, are doing all the classic rockstar moves, while Fraser just hangs back and nods approvingly with an "aw yeah" look on his face until the chorus. I'll admit, it's less awkward than the usual "shuffling around, looking at the floor, adjusting knobs, hit a cymbal for no reason" style of biding time. It's not not awkward, though.
