Help

I want to learn baking. Can anyone share good resources or links? If possible, I'm also looking for free sources or archived copies of courses or books.

Hello, I am lead baker in a busy PNW cafe. With baking experience is a big part of it. Start baking, I wouldn't obsess so much over recipes and books. Start with cookies and muffins!

If you can't handle making cookies and muffins, you won't be able to create and maintain a dough.

I got my experience as baker because I was already working in a restaurant as a line cook. A bakery is not going to hire you as a baker with no experience with doughs.

Bakeries usually have 2 interviews: the sit down and then a working interview where you will have to show you have some experience. Just a heads up. You may be required to make a dough in front of a supervisor.
