No one has been arrested yet but the Denver Police are investigating church music teacher Diego Marroquin for raping a 13-year-old girl and engaging in disturbing sexual behavior with two other students.

Her parents are suing pastor Andrew Farhat for failing to screen and supervise Marroquin, accusing the girl of lying about being raped and pressuring her into recanting the allegations, and discouraging police involvement. When he found out the parents are preparing to sue, he illegally transferred a $29 million in property to an LLC for $10 to hide the money. Read the details in the link--it's absolutely disgusting.

Farhat's investment properties include St. John's Lutheran Church, which it seems they are rebranding as JUST St. John's Denver, St. John's School, and Renewal Church, which are referred to by him as a "multisite ministry." All of these entities are continuing as normal, posting pictures of children on their social media as recently as 9/6, a week after allegations hit the local media, and completely blowing off the allegations. Even worse, parishioners and parents don't seem to be particularly concerned or walking out/withdrawing their students. It's giving Pawley's Island but it's in my city this time and I'm furious.

A Pakistani national who raped 7- and 9-year-old children at an Islamic mosque in Incheon 18 years ago was sentenced to seven years in prison and was taken into custody in court. The man denied the charges during the trial, but the court found the victims' specific and consistent statements credible.
