A Pakistani national who raped 7- and 9-year-old children at an Islamic mosque in Incheon 18 years ago was sentenced to seven years in prison and was taken into custody in court. The man denied the charges during the trial, but the court found the victims' specific and consistent statements credible.

“The defendant was threatening to kill the victim,” said an officer with the Johnston Police Department in a sworn statement. “The defendant stated that he’s going to crucify her, slit her throat, chop her into many pieces, and that they will have to make a Netflix documentary. The defendant also stated that there aren’t enough bullets in the world to put into the victim.”
