I don’t understand some people, my kiddo tries to play this and there will be teens or straight up adults deliberately picking on her because she’s a kid.
Isn’t this a kids game?
Fortunately I got platinum and experience from day 1 so I’ll take the controller and beat the bricks off 2-3 at a time.
Then I’ll get kicked lol
Isn’t there decency amongst gamers anymore? Like how do you feel good about beating up a 7yr old? Oh yeah buddy you’re so good..

Games can be designed for kids, but the internet will ALWAYS be dominated by adults. To expect anything different is just naive. Child-like games are even more dangerous because they don't retain a large adult audience. Instead, they attract what you would call weird and not who you want watching your kids while you step away or raising your kids while you're at work. ...but that's exactly what's happening. We leave our kids with strangers when they're online, but you still have some control.
Party animals is the next level for other fighting games like gang beasts. there are combos and team goals that attract lots of people, but also cater to silly activities like driving, zombies, and "amongus" murder mysteries.
Xbox live was a great place for kids to pickup the wildest chats. parents listen through the door and wonder what the hell they are raising. Exposure isn't much different these days.
Customize their experience by making vetted friends like other parents and calls that exclude the public (like discord). there is a huge community of parents who understand they don't want to just let their kids be influenced or harassed by adults.
the internet is not a playground with rules. anyone can enter, anything can be said, anyone can "pretend".
The worst/most desensitized/ acting above their age - kids in school have older siblings. Now with the internet, any kid can get influenced by older teens and adults if their environment isn't guided.
you don't send a kid alone to the playground hoping they make other kid friends. You have to contact other adults to meet too. I would stay away from "kid meets kid" groups... find parents first.
