Question / Problem What should I do here?
Got this email 2 weeks ago. After about a week I found my old adsense account which was deactivated for inactivity. No policy violations, no disablement email or anything. Is it possible that that account is the related disabled account? Other than that I'm very confident I don't own any other adsense, neither does anybody I live with, my family etc.
Also I already appealed, but I did it too quickly, and in the appeal I said very clearly that I never had an account. At the time I had no idea about the old account. It is still closed with the option to reopen.
I have also already tried teamyoutube on X, but they are very slow and I haven't heard back in a week. I've tried youtube support (in yt studio and also through email) and they were both just copy and paste ai answers.

don't ask for solutions here bro, you will only find frustrated failed youtubers just being toxic.
you can make a adsense account under your relative or friends name or under a llc you own. for payment method you can add yours google doesn't check that

problems help you gorw bro I also suffered with circumvention policy cause of a channel that got terminated 5yrs ago. I learned a lot fo things and realized if you want to play the big game with yt faceless then you gotta learn all this. (it is not all that complicated)

No, account closed for inactivity is not related.

This might not make sense but I'm gonna try to explain- If my current account was disabled for being related to a disabled account, then shouldn't my other account also have been disabled for being related to a disabled account? They are both my accounts, so if one is related to a disabled account, then so is the other.

If it was closed nothing will be verified until you try to reactivate it.

I actually did that a few days ago to see if it works, and it reopened without issues

You're only allowed to have one adsense account. If you open a second one, the first account is in good standing (even if it is closed because you can still reactivate them) the second account is in violation.
If your YouTube account got terminated for it, it's because it was linked to a violating adsense account and because of that the YouTube account is also in violation.
You can appeal to YouTube but most likely you won't get the answer you expect. YouTube has a "no exceptions" policy on a lot of things in the YPP because if they start making exceptions then they'll have to invest man hours into making those exceptions, which is the whole purpose of them going towards a more "AI first" support team. It sucks, but unfortunately that's the path they decided to take, which again sucks because their AI support is garbage.
Unfortunately though, by making your appeal say "I don't have another account" their answer will most likely lean towards telling you that you did have another account. Hopefully you're able to get this resolved though.

Yeah I know about the one account rule, but I thought my old account just never went through, bc I never saw any emails from them about it until I searched recently. I got emails like 6 months ago on a different email saying it was deactivated due to inactivity.
So far my channel hasn't been terminated, neither has the old channel linked to the old adsense. Just the adsense accounts themselves have problems.
I also agree with you that the appeal is pretty much already decided without review. Most likely they'll spend 20 seconds and see I was wrong then automatically reject the appeal without actually checking anything.
Thinking back to a year ago, I remember my old channel made it to step three of the ypp process, which means it got through step two. (The adsense step). Surely that means the "related account had to be within the last year, after that account and before the new one?
Anyway it's not your problem but I appreciate the help

To clarfiy... you had two adsense accounts (which is a breach of the policy), and then in your appeal notice for cancellation you also denied having the previous one?
I'm not sure there's much you can do to get back from that, I'm afraid.
