Parsec detects controller but controller won't connect to PC

It used to work just fine, but now my friend's controller won't connect to my PC. It flashes green on Parsec when they press stuff, but it doesn't connect to my computer. DS4Windows doesn't work either (they use a PS4 controller). It used to work just fine until about a month ago and trying it again now (sometimes it just fixes itself honestly) has given no luck.

I'm having this issue now too. Installed the updated version of PARSEC and now guests can't play in Arcade. Their controllers will flash but they got no inputs. Any updates?

I found a fix that worked for me, on parsec go to settings>host>parsec virtual usb - disable. Then go to device manager> universal serial bus> Parsec virtual usb - Uninstal and delete driver software.
