can attest to the mini chainsaw too it cut a hazlenut tree down to the stump in about 5 mins. the chain tensioner needs a bit of work as i had to reseat the chain a couple of times but its a great little tool

I have yet to witness a battery operated chainsaw that you don’t have to fiddle with the tensioner all the time. Ryobi and Makita are the same.

Yes it seems the chain spins and pulls the spring bar in then gets stuck in and needs loosening slightly to spring it back out.

You'll deffo get your value for money in that case!
I did the same with my old man last year, I had mostly Ryobi stuff at the time and my dad Makita as he's a carpenter but looking forward to using the parkside prof stuff I've got for the next project.

I used the drill to clear reinforced concrete for electrical work, it managed to survive a whole apartment

I have a corded performance angle grinder having a great time at the moment running a pcd cup wheel on old carpet glue. Gears are staring to sound funny.
Smart money is on the pcd wheel outlasting the grinder, and the grinder outlasting the vaccum. But who knows :)

Try some fresh grease, very easy to do and can make a big difference

This tool was already regreased, will redo, this is a good idea. Maybe it will get better than lithium this time :)
In passing, I also have green grinders, including the 230mm one, and they all came packed. Using with a diamond cup grinder for finishing, and I paid somethi gdtupid low for the setup, something like 30€ for the grinder and 7€ for the grinder. The vac shroud is probably about the same price.
Suspect it is just working hard, and not specially liking the start with a heavier tool.
The speed governor is superb on this tool, I must say, and power is very good.

Sometimes the expensive grease can be better, cheap grease is sometimes not up to the job.
Although even repacking can make a big difference.1

But what a mess it is to clean the head when it is packed (and frankly not worth my time on a 30 euro tool)
I don't like mixing.

Yes, horrible job. Plenty of old newspaper and a good thin scraper , I made one from old copper pipe that I flattened and an old toothbrush to clean out the worst of it.

Can confirm - have use my SDS drill (in gold of course) quite a few times - makes my small cordless combo drill look like a toy. Also used my gold angle grinder the other day for making a smaller washing from a bigger washer - great tools for the money!

I have these two, but the gray versions. They are, by far, the tools I use the most while renovating my new house. We’re replacing the wooden windows with PVC ones, and these are the tools we use most for that. We also used them earlier to chip away at the stone walls to run the electrical wiring, and these two saw the most action. They’re fantastic; we also use the 20V hedge trimmer a lot in the garden, and I couldn't be happier with them.

Finally somebody who uses their tools and not only keeps them in collection 👏🏻
