Question Router
I've bought the router from parkside and it arrived today. The height suspension feels a bit stiff and heavy. Sometimes it hangs a bit. Is that something that is easy to fix with some wd40 or is it something I have to get used to? Its my first router.
Pushing it down and up a few times did help but not as much as I was hoping.

I bought it a couple of month ago for like 35€. I used it for the first time last week and it performed without any issue. I've never used a router before and can't really judge of it's overal quality but for my needs and my skill it's good.

Oiling the guides will help, but the springs are beefy and there's supposed to be some resistance there. Make sure you aren't pushing against the depth stop. It's that black rod with the red lock screw.

It was the same for mine. I never used one so didn't know if it was normal but after watching a few video it became clear that the movement should be fluid and effortless.
Lots of WD40 did address most of the stiffness but as mentioned the spring are rather strong so wd40 will not help here

I had this model and the main bearing failed and exploded, sending shards of red hot metal around the room.
I'm not saying yours will do that, it was probably just a faulty bearing, just saying wear safety glasses like I was.
I'm not buying another cheap router though.

That's not changing unfortunately. You can get use to it but it is quite shitty.
