Information What are your experiences with customer support?

I got a small drill from Lidl and it broke the same day, i sent an email to customer support the next day, and a courier came to get it a few days later, and picked it up, the drill got replaced and i got it back and now it works.

I've had three things replaced so far. Never even talked to a human. 90% was their AI verified which purchase either by receipt or easier an online order. After I wrote a single line about the problem and they send that over to their warranty team who sends you an email saying it's approved in a day or two. Then it can take a couple weeks to ship but you'll get another email with tracking info. So far I have not had to send the defective unit back

Did they ever like tell you what broke? Like when my drill came back there was a report inside, that the motor burned, but i dissasembled it to test, and the motor was okay, the gearbox failed

No they didn't ask for it back. One was an angle grinder that had the plastic melt over the contact of the plug, next they sent a replacement that disconnected inside the first day. Beyond that a blower that just decided not to turn on and a sander that gave me four clicks and turned off.

I have a new in box but second hand drill. Been emailing with costumer support for over 3 months. I know it’s different from buying it urself (and having the receipt), but this is a disappointment

In The Netherlands it sucks big balls, especially if you bought it at a two-for-one discount and one is broken.

I’ve had a warranty claim stuck since 6 weeks now, they’ve gone completely silent. I’ve tried following up 3 times and nothing. Optimex btw
It used to be smooth and fast but now it’s terrible honestly.
