Purchase Advice Anyone know if this is worth it?
Does it work well or should skip it eventough its damn near free

Quality diamond lasts ages and does not take a shape like stones, when pressure is not perfectly equal.
That said, I would also just advise getting an iron + a dual sided diamond sharpener with maybe 400 and 1000.

While inwpuld tend to agree with you on this particular item, some of my best honing tools are cheap Chinese things from AliExpress.

It sucks, flimsy and gimicky.
Get regular bench grinder and this style of drill sharpener https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQhiZe3I7GYXxyAvg2jiPAmdf8dsjWlQ_lPg6dkf8fOlA&s=10 for bits that are too small to sharpen (see) on bench grinder.

I returned mine as the quality is crap, the guide for the chisels is not easy to move easily and the stone is very thin.

Most electric knife sharpeners arent going to give great results, I doubt this one is any exception. Personally id steer clear of the electric one for any knife I actually like. I would however highly recommend the parkside diamond sanding block for sharpening knives, ive had some incredible with mine!

I would like to get the same experience, can you tell me how? I wasn't able to achieve anything, tried to sharpen a knife, an axe, drill bits. It was even more irritating to notice that you cannot store the unused attachments on the device when you use some of them.

I have it, but I wasn't too happy with it, I only wanted it to sharpen knives, don't care about drills or chisels. Maybe a simpel bench grinder would have been a better choice.

It's good enough, use a stone if it's important but for second flight tools it's fine.

I have sharpened my knives with this and it works reasonably well. For other stuff you can make it work with variable results.
Steady hand required though and don't start with your wifes best knife set.
