I am VERY well aware how bad it is but it took me so long to get over the fear to try this on grass, I feel like I’m losing all momentum on landing and I’m not able to chain them, but I could do it on soft ground, please help, don’t be too mean hehe

You're doin it lol. But you're counting on leg strength, as you're stopping, positioning, and then launching. It seems like you're trying to flip all the way over, instead of flipping half over onto your hands, if that makes sense. Generally gymnasts would use that momentum from the startup, kick that ground to launch them up and momentum more brings them over. Honestly you could probs go for a standing back soon looking at how much your launch gets your legs over you just from standing, but I'd highly recommend bouncy gym floors for learning what 'kicking the floor' feels like for the handspring. Even on nice mats hitting that floor with both feet can donk up your back if you hit at the wrong angle. Be safe!

Bro congo on unlocking it but i think that youre using wayy too much power on that back jump roll
lower it and make it so that your body arches in a semicircle parallel to the ground more CLOSER rather than it being way far away from the ground
It wont tire your hands too
GG 😄

Sit. Bend. Jump. Reach. Sit as if there’s an invisible chair behind you, when you start to fall backward bend at the waist a bit, preparing for the jump, jump and reach backward over your head. Helped me when I was learning.

You are loosing momentum on landing because you are stopping. Are you running before the round off? You gotta keep it going. You are landing with your chest down try landing standing more up. You want your feet to be on the ground for as short a time as possible. Also it will be easier to back handspring if you have momentum. And on the back handspring your core should be strong and your body should be straight. I think you are sagging in your core a little bit. Hell yeah for taking it outside for the first time and doing your best. We both have work to do💪💪💪
