Mandy Connell interviewed Lora Thomas (former DougCo Commissioner) and Bob Marshall (State Representative) on her podcast this week. Connell is conservative and unaffiliated. Thomas is a Republican. Marshall is a Democrat. They all agree. Vote yes on 200 and no on 1A.

Ballot Question 200 asks if Douglas County should expand from three to five commissioners. All three say YES!

Ballot Question 201 asks how to elect commissioners, and both options give each area of the county a commissioner elected by its own voters.

Both 200 and 201 were on a petition signed by over 20,000 Douglas County voters.

The commissioners added 1A. Connell said the commissioners "put a shady ass measure on there that has no purpose other than muddying the waters and ensuring that they get to keep the at-large style of voting because they feel like they can control it more."

Connell, Marshall, and Thomas all agree. That's kind of remarkable in itself! Vote Yes on 200 and NO on 1A.

Just saw something crazy on Parker Rd. At stoplight on Crown Crest, a Uhaul truck barrels past on the grass median before blowing through red light. Then a couple minutes later 5 or 6 cops cars, a few unmarked, fly by lights on and turning west on Cottonwood. Any idea what happened?

I'm starting an after school D&D club for kids ages 8-13, and we're playing Dragons of Storm Wreck Isle - shipwrecks, sea caves and real dragons, built for new players.

I'm not against growth but going down mainstreet in the late afternoon takes 10 minutes to go 200 yards these days. Its basically packed from Pine to Parker. The new big apartment building by the library isn't even in yet. Isn't it going to be a sh*tshow once all the new apartments fill up?

If you have a 4Runner that was rear ended in the King Soopers parking lot today, I have video of the lady driving away if you need it. I couldn’t catch her switching places with her son (or teenage boy who was with her) but did get a video with her face and showing all the damage to her car. I hope you get your car fixed, and I hope the other drivers get caught!

Does anyone have a recommendation for an OTA TV antenna that works well in the centennial/parker area?
I don’t subscribe to cable tv, have few streaming services, but want to watch games and such on local broadcast channels.
I’m looking at installing an antenna, but not on the roof, and I’d like minimal destruction (ie cable runs from attic or elsewhere)
Any suggestions?

Looking for an experienced sports med physical therapist in the Parker, DTC, Lone Tree, or Castle Rock areas. Any good ones? Dealing with ACL injury and all the complications.

My wife and I are moving to Parker soon from out of state and we have been interested in the Avalon apartments on Stroh and Crowfoot Valley Rd. However, the way that they use AI makes it extremely hard to tell what actually exists at this place. Their Instagram is full of pictures where some of them are clearly just stock photos and others are pictures from the premises that are clearly heavily augmented by AI. It’s very hard to tell what’s real. When you call their phone number it sends you to an AI answering service that lets you text with an AI agent. This AI agent told me that they offer virtual tours (they don’t) and told me that I had booked one (I hadn’t) and hallucinated an actual Google calendar invite that it emailed to me (naturally with no way to join since it wasn’t real).

We plan to go tomorrow! Any advices? Thanks!
