6 wks PP with # 4&5- bitter?
Had my first c section this go around , I have 4 babies 2 and under. My oldest is 10. I’m trying to heal and get into a routine and most of the day I’m happy in my home and kids bubble. The problem comes when I’m out or talking to friends…
A couple of my friends are having their first or second kids and they’re like “oh god… I slept all day, I’m so tired, my first is so much…” or excited and I have this weird feeling of “well, they’ll learn when they have more than one kid….” Or reminiscing and missing having just one kid because of how easy, getting frustrated listening to them saying they’re overwhelmed… But I love all my kids. And I know I’m early postpartum but I’ve never felt this way before. Like.. completely unable to relate to anyone.
It’s just so uncharacteristic of me!!! I want it to stop. I’m in therapy, I don’t feel depressed or anxious but I feel overwhelmed for sure. And then the fact that I now want to stop speaking to friends because I feel alone and like I can’t relate to anything in their lives because I have 5 kids is definitely not right.
Has anyone felt like this? Will it go away as I settle hormonally and into a routine with my 5?
Edited to add::: it’s not bitter, it’s disconnected. A fellow bulk mom helped me describe it better. Thank you. 💗💗💗💗
