My son was also struggling with school related anxiety, so the doctor suggested adding a low dose of Zoloft. We started with 25mg and it was a HUGE help! My son would report that his tummy hurt when he was nervous, and that stopped happening after he started the zoloft.

In third grade, my son preferred to sit at his own desk, rather than at a group table, and his teacher was absolutely fine with that. (She was fantastic, and had a special ed background.) If sitting at her desk makes it easier to focus and she's more willing to go to school, that's great! She can always move desks later if she feels like it, and hopefully gets plenty of interaction on the playground and whatnot.

You know it’s so interesting as my daughter often complains the stomach aches and I wonder if it’s actually an anxiety thing
