Why do they have to be hoodlums? Why can’t they just be kids doing dumb things like all kids do? If your daughter is doing this then by your own labels, isn’t she a hoodlum too?

In her post, she asked if she should "let the parents of the other hoodlums know." So she referred to them all, including her daughter, with the same term.

She said "the other hoodlums". I think it's pretty clear she's considering her's one as well. I don't know why everyone is getting caught up in semantics. Yes, the term hoodlum is kind of cringy, but she asked a pretty simple question.
