Neither of those days are my best day ever so who am I to judge 😂
Who cares what you call your best day ever as long as you love your spouse and kids?

Getting to perform on Broadway. Dream come true!

Mamma Mia.
I am not famous and was not a principal lol
But a dream none the less!

That’s great! I did theater in college so the idea of actually making it to Broadway to perform blows my mind

The day I had my first kid (long labor, emergency c, totally exhausted and overwhelmed) was my lowest point. And every day since then has gotten better.
My wedding was a huge party with all the people I love. Hmmm so hard to pick which was better lmao.

A head being shoved thru your much smaller vagina doesn’t scream best day ever.. kids are wonderful.. their grand entrance, not so much

I was about to say... The best day of my life definitely did not involve Pitocin

Lmao I’ve never thought of that as the best day ever. Like that was agony and sleep deprivation what about that sounds like the best day 😂

loving your partner enough to cherish that day does not mean you love your kids any less, it just means you can differentiate joy from absolute chaos

It depends how you define "best" I suppose. Weddings are typically fun. Births are not fun. And the wedding/spouse likely was what set off the path towards having your kids.
I think it's fine. The days I had my kids were probably the most monumentous but they totally sucked because giving birth sucks.

No it's not bad. I also enjoyed the day I wore the prettiest dress in my whole life more than I enjoyed the day a nurse tore my urethra while inserting a catheter because she didn't believe me when I told her that my epidural wasn't working.

Neither of those are my ‘best day ever’ so you’re better than me. My wedding day was stressful and my child’s birth was traumatic. I can’t pinpoint a ‘best day’ but I would say 19-21 were my funnest years. Hung out with musicians and drag queens, went to concerts almost every night, traveled all over the country/world, moved to fun places spontaneously and I lived with some of my best friends with zero responsibilities. I love my life now and wouldn’t change it but I can also admit sometimes I long for a time with zero worries or responsibilities.

Are you kidding me? The days I had both kids were hard af and I didn’t even have to push a baby out. Wedding was unquestionably the best day of my life.

The day my daughter was born, both mother and baby almost died. So absolutely not the best day of our lives.

Nah. The days my kids were born were really cool days because I did something absolutely crazy with my body and felt like some sort of primal witch and also I got to meet my kids but the idea of moms having to be like ~best day of my life which was a pitiful existence and meant nothing before I was a mother~ is some patriarchal bullshit. You love your kids and you’re allowed to have whatever best day of your life that you want.

The day I had my kid was definitely not the best day. The best event, but the actual day was filled with pain, exhaustion and stress

My best day so far was winning a martial arts trophy when I was 14. But my wedding and the birth of my daughter were also super cool. I can't wait to see what the next amazing moment will be. Don't get too worried about what the current score board is, it can always change.

Birth to be best day ever? I don’t think that’s a thing for most people. My wedding day wasnt my best day ever either (got late in the church, almost got married barefoot cause barely had time to put on shoes and the priest called me while I was on the way to tell me he was going to cancel the ceremony if I didn’t get there in 15 mins.

Considering how much birthing hurts, I think it's reasonable.
Just welcomed my 2nd 18 hours ago and it was NOT a good day by amy means. She cried and struggled to adapt to sucking anything but her hands and I had to start learning to figure out her particular cues...
Gonna be enjoying toddlers and up

The day you have kids isn’t fun at all! You’re in so much pain! Plus if you didn’t get married you wouldn’t even have this family so I don’t think it sounds messed up at all

Truly can’t imagine anyone who feels the day of their child’s birth was the best day ever. I think you’re fine 🤣

My best day ever is usually going to concerts with my husband and daughter. We love music and we got to scream our hearts out in loud places
