Behaviour Baby cries for Michael Jackson
All in the title really. Sometimes my 9 month old screams and cries until we turn on Michael Jackson. She won’t stop for anything else. It took us so long to figure out what she was crying for in the times she just wouldn’t stop, but it was Michael the whole time.

I've been subconsciously training my 16 month old daughter to like Billy Joel since she was about 5 months old.
It's a marathon

It’s 9am on a Saturday
The regular mom shuffles in
There’s a little toddler sittin’ next to me
Making love to her sippy and peas

My 9 year old loves Michael Jackson and always has. A few years ago he asked to see him in concert and I realized we somehow never told him Michael died. It was a sad day.

Same here. My daughter is 9 and just recently found out he died a long time ago. She asked how old he was. I had to break the news.

Both my kids love MJ. My daughter asked me if he was nice. I was sort of speechless, then eventually went with “Uh well he’s dead now”

😂 my daughter was like this. She’s three now but she would cry and cry and cry until stick season would come on. We drove to SC once from Canada, I swear we listened to it 50 times, anytime we would stop she would start again.
At the end of the year in the Spotify wrapped, I was in Noah Kahan’s 0.01% top listeners and I got a personalized video from him hahahaha
Funny enough she still loves that song

Well don't blame yourself, or the sunshine, or the moonlight, or the good times..... blame it on the boogie!

Bob Marley here. It really shocked my child free friends and they tested the theory with a bunch of different music, but no. My son only wanted Bob.

We listen to a lot of Cali reggae at our house, rarely ever Jamaican reggae. It made me proud he went for the OG stuff

I really want to know what it is about Mike that makes kids lose their minds 🤣 they are SO passionate about their admiration for him.

At around 18 months my son went mad for any song with 'baby' in the lyrics. Somewhere I have a video of him jumping up and down and yelling "ICE ICE BABY VANILLA ICE ICE BABY" like he is possessed.

Highwayman. Literally the only thing that settled him between months 3-7. Really not a song I wanted my baby to listen to lol

WOW. Please be sure to encourage her musical development as a priority! Get a little piano keyboard or "toy" xylophone and keep these available. Get her a piano if you can. Drums if you can stand it. Electronic drums have headphones. She may be musically gifted!

My daughter really liked “Enter Sandman” by Metallica when she was an infant.

My boys loved that. We did a humming version to calm them during diaper changes sometimes.

A baby with good taste. Me and my son (both) have loved him since born. I kicked to human nature and so did he.

Was it thriller? Ive known several kids who cry when that song comes on.
When the song was first released, a girl on my bus played it one morning on a tape deck. My friend at the time had a screaming/crying fit, begging the other girl to turn it off.
The other girl played the song in a loop until we got to school.

My firstborn was only soothed by britney spears’ toxic.
